I just ran four antiquities in Craiglorn. These were the first ones I've done in Craiglorn. Each dig site was located inside a group area. Is that normal for Craiglorn?

Yeah, it has happened me a lot. Got like 3 shrines all near the Spellscar. And that´s not mentioning all those Spellscar fragments :D

Not all of them are, from my experience.

But even if they are the actual dig site would be away from mobs, so they won't aggro on you while you are digging.

But the inner ring of SpellScar seems to be a favourite blob.

I've gotten at least 3 or 4 inside of Elinhir.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Yep, they're regularly inside group zones, however, always in such a way that you can reach them safely. There is always a path around avoiding foes, either by climbing rocks or by keeping out of aggro range. :)

The ones I've gotten inside Elinhir required fighting past several enemy groups to reach them.

If you don't like the dig site location, you can cancel the active scry and re-scry the dig site. It doesn't make you lose the lead.

Now you might continue to get the same spot over and over but eventually the dig site will change to a different part of the map.

Yes it's normal, but if you look 99% of all antiquities are in spots where nothing paths. So when you get there you shouldn't get interrupted

Same. That one's only a problem because it's an enclosed area.
