Hi there. Why only Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Blackwood for pc allow to Begin your adventure where you like: "emerge from Coldharbour in the Base Game, battle Dragons in the Elsweyr Chapter, or get ready to face the Prince of Destruction, Mehrunes Dagon, in Blackwood, the latest Chapter." I'm new player and i'm so lost in story.

Why can't we all have this option?

ZOS let us new players understand the story without need of follow 20 tutorials from internet! Each one say one thing different!

    The latest tutorial is good because it offers all options without using NPC where you cant differ proloque from story.

    You dont have to start in with Molag Bal. If you look at the year ingame it all happens simultaniously. Do mage guild now or later or go Elsweyr and then to Warrior guild doesnt matter. Or Psijik and then Wrothgar doesnt matter. You could even start with Thives guild and continue with Dark Brotherhood. Or do some here and there and everywhere. Just go out and discover Tamriel and have fun.

    This is also to serve new players as much as veterans.

    tl;dr ; In the end you know all stories because the online game is stuck in 2E 583.

    They still could put a real world timeline into the help sections so people get the right proloque before the DLC.

    Some guides will be out of date because the people who created them haven't updated them (and might not play any more).

    Blackwood changed the tutorial for everyone. No matter which version of the game or which chapters you own everyone starts in the same place now, which is the Isle of Balfiera. The chapters you own do affect which portals will be available to you at the end of the tutorial because you can't choose to go to a chapter you down own.

    Unfortunately no one has the option of starting in Coldharbour any more and while everyone can choose to go to their Alliance's starter map (or another Alliances) it will put you on the first island (Stros M'kai, Khenarthi's Roost or Bleak Rock) which means you have to go to the main city to pick up the Coldharbour introductory quest...which then puts you back on the island.

    It's a mess and while I like that the new tutorial lets us choose where we start I wish they'd fix that. All they need to do is give you the choice to start in Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard or Davon's Watch instead of on the island, then you'll be able to pick up the Coldharbour quest as soon as you arrive.

    TL;DW:
    Game starts with the Sacrifice cutscene -> Escape from Coldharbour -> Current ESO opening cutscene -> Balfiera tutorial -> Portal room -> Starter islands.

    Some other things I'd like to see added/changed:
    • After leaving Coldharbour the conversation with the Prophet should occur BEFORE leaving the cell on Balfiera (imagine the conversation in the video moved from 10:08 to 03:55). The door cannot be opened until the quest is complete. Some lines can be edited to look like this:
    How long was I unconscious?
    "Days? Weeks? I cannot tell. The voyage between worlds disrupted all sense of time and space.
    I know only that you were deposited into the sea, and some charitable soul fished you out and brought you to dry land."
    Where should I go?
    "You must find your own path. But perhaps there is a reason for the place in which you find yourself.
    Explore. Search for a cause to lend your hand. Join with others. You might even seek out those who rescued you from the sea. The choice is yours."
    • The portals leading to Vvardenfell, Summerset, Northern Elsweyr & Western Skyrim would have an option to take the Vestige to their tutorial quests and play the original Chapter Intro Cinematics.

    Even the ones leading to base main zones should have an option to start at Coldharbour
