For the most part name reporting is from other players issuing a report against you. I don't think zos is going through and targeting names. Someone reported you.

This is regarding my PlayStation profile. I've been using "Israel1948" as a username for online services for 15 years. I've never had an issue like this before. I've been playing ESO for 6 years. Been an ESO Plus member for 4 years and have bought all DLC (except Blackwood). All of a sudden it's an issue? And the issue is that my name is discriminatory or promotes a "protected class" in a negative manner? I'm Jewish. It's my own identity I'm referencing and it's not discriminatory nor negative. It's the name of my national origin with the year of it's independence.
Look, I'm not getting into anything political, that's not the purpose of this post. I don't care what other people put as their username. But I can bet if someone has "America1776" as their username it would be fine. I say this because I have seen other people have this kind of username on ESO. This account warning is discrimination, pure and simple. It's specifically targeting me politically because they might not like the country I have as my username. Which is fine if you don't like the country. That's your right, but when you use your authority in a job to punish players because they might have a different political view or they're from a country you don't particularly like, that is an abuse of power. How else can I back this up? They changed my name to "Skelstein". Changing my username to include the ending of a typical Jewish surname? Come on. That's so blatant.
I have heard that customer service has been very inept lately with blanket bans and bad response times, but this is pretty deliberate.

Totally off topic but I have actually never encountered a person named "Israel."
How much of a boss would you have to be to be named after an entire country? LOL! Can you imagine introducing yourself, "Yo, I'm Africa." Or "Murca Mc'Donald?" I mean I'm sure it happens but wow, I do not envy that child the public school experience.

Well, with the addition of the "1948", it looks like a reference to the Arab-Israeli War, so it could be taken as a political statement, not just a random name.

It's my ZOS account that is tied to my PSN. I said that to differentiate between the forum account.

Don't know how you're able to use the PS4 browser lol. It's so buggy lately after the last firmware update.

Well the country Israel is named after a person. Same with America. It's named after the explorer Amerigo Vespucci.

Which means someone at ZOS had to look at the report. Regardless if someone reported it, it doesn't break any of the rules they listed.

It really depends on the supporting evidence or the reason stated for the report by the player reporting you. No way to know. But I highly doubt it was just the name.

Not laughing at, just laughing. Like I said I'm sure it happens. The trivia about Israel being named after a person, I actually had no idea, so I learned something today. But it also makes you sound like a total boss. Which is not a bad thing!
I feel I should just just step away slowly now with my hands in the air.

That's literally the only reason given in the email.
