I liked mount for like a whole 20 minutes but I got way too annoyed at the growl/chirp that it makes every time you hit a damn pebble.

Think about it - this is the only event where you can buy "all three" which may mean that later events you may only be able to buy the last one or the last 2 of the 3.

Due to poor health for the past 2 years I didn't get Greymoor in time to get extra rewards from events (just bought it 2-3 months ago maybe), not to mention all the daily stuff (including free houseguest which honestly would be something awesome for housing addict like me to get). I see no reason why I should cry about it on forum like you do, life is not fair, get over it or just get Blackwood, you still have the option to buy it on sale and get what you want anyway so if you truly want the ugly & weird running mount just buy Blackwood.

Point of this post was to say mount is behind a pay wall witch to a new player like myself was not made clear at the start of this event , and in my view its a shambles way to try and make money from a game that i have payed to play already and now to have to fork out another 16 quid just to get the mount is disgusting that is MY Opinion i have 12 tickets and have farmed the rest of the mount but cant get to vendor , hell i can pay but its a matter of principle to ME

I'm reasonably sure that all 3 fragments for the mount will return during the New Life Festival. This Blackwood event is the last event of Q3 and when they say that it's the last event when you can purchase all 3 fragments they're saying that those 3 fragments will not be available during the Q4 events-- excepting the New Life Festival, which is a special case in that it will have all fragments which were available during the Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 events.

If you've got 12 tickets already then you can get the mount. The vendor is outside the starter cities (Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, and Davon's Watch) like they always are.

You only need Blackwood if you need to get more tickets, because in this event they come from the daily quests in that map.

What do you mean you cant get to the vendor? The vendor isnt just in the zone that the event is happening. There is also a vendor in Daggerfall (city in Glenumbra zone), Vulkhel Guard (in Auridon zone), and Davon's Watch (Stonefalls zone). The vendor has never been trapped behind a paywall lol

And as for this event being in a chapter, as it has been stated the last fragment was also behind a chapter, so there's nothing new here. In fact ALL events are behind DLCs or Chapters, so if you want to participate you need all the content. Is it a way to make money for them?Yes, but I enjoy the chapter or dlc events since they give me the opportunity to get rare items or motifs during them usually and to do the content that people stopped doing and are hard to do on your own (dragons), now that people are doing again. So I see no issues in having events set in chapters. Plus, we DID know that the final fragment would appear during a Blackwood event for some time now lol

I love new mounts, especially mounts that are not a reskin of past templates.

But Im not a fan of the ticket system.

Put more mounts behind hard content - it would make the achievement even more special!

The New Life Festival 2021 has the following fragments:
• Unstable Morpholith
• Deadlands Scorcher
• Deadlands Firewalker
• Dagonic Quasigriff
• Doomchar Plateau

Next year there will be a different Event Collectible theme, so the Morpholith and it's evolutions are probably gone for a pretty long time.

Sounds terrifying. Luckily Sammy is not interested in this particular type of mount, and will be spared from the endless colour variations.

I thought we were already well aware that it was using the same senche animations or whatever months ago. This isn't new. Plus, what exactly makes it a reskin? It's still a new model and textures with presumably new sounds (I don't have it yet, so I don't know how it sounds). It being a quasigriff kinda justifies it being based on the senche in the first place. I get being disappointed that it has the same animations, but this "It's just a reskin" has never really made sense to me. Where's the line between original and reskin? People complained that the welwa was a reskin just because it has the same animations as the senche, and I just don't get how that's enough to ruin such a gorgeous-looking mount that's unique in every other aspect. As unfortunate as it is, they aren't going to just make new skeletons and animations for every animal or npc. That's insane. Every game in existence reuses animations.

Maybe I don't really care just because I don't have any mount with those animations whatsoever. Idk. But to me, the only disappointing thing about this, based on what I've read here, is that theres' no summoning animation. That and the goofy zero-sum fade when you dismount have been the only real complaints for me personally in terms of the visual representation of the mounts. But that's just my opinion, I guess.
