I am a whale... I dropped $$ on 30 crown crates for these and stockpiled endeavors... always a big fan of the jester theme stuff. I think I might be the only one... <tumbleweed> Im not a mad fan of the costume; it dyes poorly and is a costume; with a god-awful mask *Why even bother customizing your head / face if its hidden?? *I dislike all masks to be fair. I do LOVE the /idle2 and /idle3 animations - although they are broken at the moment... weapons disappearing... which isn't great considering the spend. The weapon / maul over the the shoulder /idle2 and /idle3 *dagger emote seem to ONLY use the Manical Jester weapons, even if not unlocked - so just be aware what you are getting into before you spend your dollar bills.

    You are far from the only Jester lover. I got my Royal Jester costume in year 1 and never took it off. Even when it was that horrid white and purple. Title, costume and personality and I have the madcap jester monkey following me. So from one jester to another. What's up :D

    Agreed, I got the personality and love it, but I do think it's the jester weapons that show during, which won't match my costumizations lol, so I kinda hope they never add those :D

    I very much like the Manical Jester personality, but 400 gems, or 8k endeavor seals is simply too much.

    The costume doesn’t dye well at all for a 400 gem costume. In fact, the best part to actually dye, the trimmings, is un-dyeable and you end up looking like a bumble bee if you use a black/dark color for the main body part. It’s really trash for an apex costume.

    Fact they are apex is laughable & its amusing zos has gall to actually brag about them being apex. If you like them & are trying to get them they are more expensive than other personalities & outfits but if you are trying for the mounts now you have more apex items to be disappointed in getting.

    Remember when you could buy a bundle of three costumes for 800 Crowns?

    We’re talking about $2-3 per costume.

    This 400 gem costume is literally $100+ to buy with gems lol.

    it is not the only expensibe "costume" with bugs.

    Just checked the spriggan polymorph again yesterday (I have the first, green one), it still was not fixed and uses the MALE dancing animations :(

    Very disappointing for an expensive 500 gem item.

    What's everyone's honest opinion on the personality? Reddit seems to find it pretty nice aside the large 400 cg cost. I haven't been on for a few day so I'm intrigued to go preview it.

    lol I'll be sure to check that out. It would be cool if ESO did another version of the drunk personality...I'm a fan of that one, haha.

    not correct - got 1 free crown chest from blackwood - opend it - got the sweetole for 400 gems - u cant put a price tag on crown crate stuff cause its rng

    And the 2600Gems is about 70.000 Crowns worth of crates, if you dissasemble everything.
    No wonder they don't add the new Radiant Apex Ram for Crowns only , they try to mask the price with gems. Ludicrous prizing

    I was s pleased to see something reasonably priced... until I saw it was priced with GEMS. I couldn't even believe my eyes. Ridiculous!! It's just a simple outifit and personality.

    If the idle2 and idle3 emotes associated with the personality used your current weapon styles and the personality as a whole was more “generic” - in that it’s compatible with various themes - then you could print money for a few days… just saying.

    It does require you to block cancel the animation, but it works same as Swashbuckler does. I haven't gotten /idle3 to work with that, but it actually also works with /threaten and /taunt as well.

    Now before anyone asks, I do still think the price is ridiculously high. I just (finally) got blessed by Pacrooti and managed to pull it. It does seem a lot better than I expected, and it's something I can really see myself using for a lot of screenshots. It seems like it'd be a good RP personality - more subtle than Jester or Drunk, but elements of those.

    For that price we shouldn't need to glitch away the weapon. That's only useful for nice screenshots. Going by the emote we can get with collector edition of Blackwood we know they can make emotes that uses our own weapons.

    It's a shame ZOS doesn't solicit player input on dyable costumes.

    Costume and personality are simply not worth 400 CG each. None of both have any special feature that would justify the extra cost aside from the fact that are jester cosmetics which are popular among players.

    The maniacal jester personality does not work on PS5. It constantly reverts back to the normal neutral personality. It's been reported several times to ZOS, who can't be bothered to fix it.
