Hrothgar on a PVE Ice Tank?

I was thinking of trying Hrothgar's Chill on my Warden dual ice staff tank. I have plenty of stuns and immobilizations through Gripping Shards, Arctic Blast and Frost Clench. Coupled with Occult Overload it seems I could wade through trash packs. Has anyone tried it?

✭It's not that it not gonna work, it just mobs dont have enough resistances for damage to be very meaningful. Dark Convergence is better and works on bosses too.1
