Mount Question

Wanakanabe
If I have 2 mounts, can I train each one separately every day. Each day put 1 point into capacity and the another point in speed. If i do this how does it work in regards to carry capacity? Say I have my speed horse equipped, do I lose the carry capacity?

Its per character not per mount. Whatever you train for that mount carries over to any other mounts on that character

1 train per day per character regardless of mount amount.

Mounts have no skill. There is no differentiation between them except for looks.

The individual character has riding skill.

Hi @Wanakanabe. The mount points are tied to the character rather than the individual mount. It's like the player is becoming a better rider, rather than making the mount itself better. Here is a good reference to help with the mount.

Yes you train your caracter, not your mount.
Now the first year the game was out you trained yor mount by feeding them food who made them faster, let you carry more or made you harder to dismount.

However with the crown store and premium mounts this was changed to current system, you still has some old player referring as riding training as feeding mounts.

The new system is much better sinse we can train all skils to 60, yes this takes 180 days but the old mounts you could only train 50 times not more,
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

When they changed it from the original horse-feeding upgrade mechanic - it should have switched to the Character having to eat either apples, hay, or oats. ;)

it's you being trained not the mount.
