Does anyone know if the Grim Harlequin crates are just because of the Jester's Festival or are they the 3 month crates? Don't look that interesting to me, so personally I hope they are short term.

I'd say Hollowjack crates meant to be Hallowee season ones, Grim Harlequin ones tied with Sheogorath more, I'd say directly even.2 -

Especially looks pretty concerning that costume again basically looks like an outfit/motif that was just compiled into one piece for no reason.
Can clearly see flaps, unattached belt and other areas as well so I'd assume it was a dungeon motif or an outfit style before recycling into crate "apex".
Personality also not looking any better than we had before, I'd say even worse locking into stilly maul/sword animations as part of idles. Probably would be a dungeon one also looking at amount of animation, to go with motif, but ended up in a crate 🤡.

I hope that ZOS is listening to a lot of people because with these crates and gems; it's causing gambling problems. They need to make the endeavours give us more seals through dailies than weekly's, I am not spending £29.99 for 5500 crowns just so I could get a personality which I have little luck to obtain because I am throwing money away.I'm here to steal things and your memes!!4 -

II was hoping to get the skin so I am pretty happy with this. I hate most skins but this is one of the few that I think actually looks pretty good. It will go well with my Bosmer and her primary outfit.
Wish I could have gotten the Chitinous jack but oh well!

✭✭✭✭✭I'm disappointed in the prices of some things (400-gem personality?!), but at least the stuff doesn't look as bad as I thought initially. The Daedroth memento with it mimicking you as you summon it is really awesome.
I'd normally get the personality day one, but at such a price, I'm a bit more hesitant. I guess one of my big questions is what happens when you block-cast the idles? I know that for Swashbuckler, if you block-cast the idle where they plant the sword in the ground, it'll fully replace the sword model with your equipped weapon. Some other ones only overlay the equipped and prop models, but for that idle it'll fully replace it if you do it right.
Now if the Maniacal idle where they put the hammer on their shoulder can do the same thing...? Instant buy. I've been dying to get an emote where a character put their weapon on their shoulder for a while. If not, or if it just overlays the models? Meh... this might be the first personality I don't need...0 -

(personally, the only thing in the new crates of interest is the swarm of fireflies furnishing. Shame it's as expensive as it is, I'd love to have several for large houses. Of course, I regularly think the same thing about Luxury Furnishing Vendor items that cost 50-100k gold. /shrug)

A costume and personality in the apex category? Really?! They aren't even that well done, and the costume looks a lot like it was a style at first. I could honestly make that costume in real life using nice quality fabric and it would be cheaper!
A radiant mount that cost almost a 1k more than the second highest. 3 furniture items in the legendary category - seriously stop putting furniture in the crates! Especially the high tiers.[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!21 -

The apex mount would be something I'd get, if only it didn't have the jester's aesthetic with the bells and faces. The quartered red and white cloth looks great but alas, I'm very very very picky when it concerns 400 gems.
A personality and costume in the apex price range is absolutely ridiculous, no reason at all to make those so expensive, and that's a bit disappointing. Thankfully I'm not interested in either of them.
What's even more disappointing though, is that we can't gift items with gems or seals. As that personality walk perfectly fits a char from a good friend of mine, who has no gems atm. Would've gifted if I could. Wasted opportunity to farm my money!

✭✭✭✭✭It's pretty concerning that they're sticking a costume in as a 400 gem reward, when in the past that costume would have likely been sold directly through the crown store FIRST, before later hitting the crates as a 100 gem reward.
I have also noticed a decrease in new outfit styles for events- during events, where we used to get motifs as drops, we are now only getting weapon styles while the outfit styles are being stuck in the cash shop. The new harlequin costume clearly uses reskinned parts of other motifs for some aspects, and would have looked better and been more useful on the whole as style pages sold separately rather than as one whole costume. That chest piece is rather nice, but the pauldron, gloves, and boots look awful and the overall quality reminds me more of something that should drop during an event than be put in a crate for 400 gems.
It feels like the existence of seals of endeavor is being counterbalanced by increased monetization of aspects of the game that weren't meant to be monetized before, and its quite disheartening.
Overall, the contents of the crates are underwhelming, apex mounts are becoming increasingly more boring compared to their radiant counterparts.
The furnishings in the crates is also very annoying to those of us who love housing. Please just stick these items in the cash shop part of the furnishing vendor to be purchased for crowns directly. I'm sure you'd make more sales if they were always there and always available to those who want to buy them without going through some ridiculous gamble to acquire them. Because honestly...they are probably just being deconned for gems by those who get them who are aiming to get radiant apex mounts and aren't even being used for housing at all.
ETA: By putting the items in the crates, you are discouraging people from purchasing them who might have had they been sold directly, and I am sure many others feel the same. I will not personally be buying these crates at all even though there are items I would have liked to have in them, because the gamble isn't worth either my USD or my in game gold via exchanging gold for gifted crates. ✭I got most of what I wanted out of a 15 crate purchase, but yeah the 400gem personality (which is not very Jestery) and costume (which is pretty poor) are problematic.
I am really excited for the Celestial crates and saving my endeavors and gems for those...they have some really beautiful cosmetics in there.
