Can you even play bomber anymore in no cp no proc? I read conflicting things, some people say vicious death is enabled and the patch notes don't list it as working.
I wrote a poem that I titled, "The ganker's delight."

As you lay upon the ground, cry not little pawn.
The pain will pass as quickly as my blade did take you,
but my delight will last and you will respawn.
My heart simply cannot contain my joy, when I ply my trade.

The fault lies with you, your skill was lacking.
Now your salt is mine forever, can't you hear the laughing?
Once you were so proud and now you are reduced to this.
    A miserable, loud deuced fool.

With every tear you drip, with every excuse you let slip.
All of your insecurities and worries bring a smile to my lip.
From your despair I have ripped endless glories,
but our affair is over now. Be afraid for I will return for more.

I have received many titles, to my allies I am The sniper Emperor and Grand champion hero of the Pact. However these titles mean little to me, it is the ones given to me by my victims that I prefer. To them I am "Xv1er", "trash", "no balls", "zerger", "noob", "cringe", "no skill", "camper", "100% new", "the reason this game is dying", "pathetic", "a sack of piece of [snip]", "mediocre", "absolute inbred", "beyond a virgin", "ganky dork", "fat smelly 40yr old virgin", "little girl", "daddy", "exploiting loser", and every [snipped] word known to man.

Has it been effective at all? I'm curious.

Vicious Death is not enabled in no CP/no proc Cyrodiil, so you cannot bomb with that set at least. Some form of bombing may still be possible in larger groups with the adjustments to Proximity Detonation, but it's not going to hit as hard. Personally, I've yet to see a single bombing attempt successful or otherwise in Ravenwatch since the Waking Flame update.

This is quite effective, yes. It is not as potent as a traditional bomb, as it is easier to escape from and the radius is rather small, but the fact that you can use this from range and you do not need your ulti to be up in order to get some kills makes it very deadly against zergs. I first tried it on Magblade and just in my first hour of running this set with no prior experience, I got over 50 kills with it. Especially when large groups have to funnel through a tight spot (such as an outpost door), you can just sit on top of something and keep pulling people into your kill zone from a safe distance. When you time it right, like when people come in to rez their allies, you can create a proper massacre. I've also tried it on my Magsorc a bit and it works the same. My damage is a bit lower but that may be due to my build.

The drawback of the set-up is that (at least in my experience) it's lousy for 1v1, so you kind of need these huge battles for it to be useful. It's also not so difficult to escape from, so you're really gonna want to catch that squishy player who fails to escape in order for Vicious Death to proc.

I saw a ranged magblade (though as someone pointed out no reason for magblade) bomber video by Luca. You're giving me ideas now. You can just barely fire down at the ram in front of an outpost door. The 28m range of most skills is just a little short. However, what if one was to use Propelling Shield.

Less reason than before, but I still find it to be preferable so far. Dark Convergence users are pretty easy to identify, so if you use it in an open field, it paints a giant target on your back. With a Magblade, you can easily reposition yourself to an optimal and unexpected angle.

I've tried the ranged bombing set-up with Magblade and Magsorc so far, and while my Magsorc has much more survivability and comparable mobility, I just like being able to move between enemy lines and into heavily besieged keeps unseen with my Magblade. Getting into position aside, there's nothing that keeps you from bombing on other classes.

I experience no real issues with range so far. Much like Luca, I use the fire ring as my spammable to fire down. You can reach anyone in the usual sieging vicinity of an outpost with this, so in order to avoid it, sieging players would have to use ranged siege, much like what some already used to do in order to remain out of the reach of bow gankers. Could be worth experimenting with, though. I feel like there's a lot of smart applications of this set that haven't been explored yet.

Answering my own question here: nope, none. Since proximity detonation scales from stam too, stam is straight out better at bombing ;)
