I just wanted to compliment the developers on creating such a smooth, and polished game.

This is mainly from a game engine (or graphic engine, whatever you call it) perspective.

I have played a LOT of moms, from EQ to WoW, SWTOR to Rift, Warhammer Online to Wildstar. You name it and I have probably played it. But what I have never seen, is an MMO that is so smooth, so fluid and so polished than ESO. Everything from moving around the world, to the UI, to combat, it's all incredibly polished.

Other MMOS I have played, there is jank, whether that is from a minor stutter when opening a game window, such as Achievements or your World Map, to huge performance issues from just standing in an empty area, and your FPS just plummeting. ESO has none of this, and even though it may not be THE MMO that I spend most of my time in, I just wanted to give my huge regards to the developers for making such a clean and polished MMO. It's not easy and they deserve all the credit.

I know this thread is about to get high jacked from those who don't agree with me, and think the engine is the worst thing in existence. I have a fairly powerful machine which helps, but I think the above mostly still applies, regardless of your machine, providing you meet recommend specs.

So thank you devs, for showing every one that you can have an MMO with a clean, stutter free UI, and gameplay that feels just as fluid and polished

The Developers of Tetris I take it from the title?

Now back on topic about the HUGE memory leaks on ESO where simply walking around Deadwater village in Murkmire for a couple of hours will tumble you from 100+ FPS to 25 (but feels like 10 FPS) until you log out and back in (i7 GTX 1080 and a second machine i5 with GTX1070 1080P).

Curious, are you new or do you only have 1 toon?

I noticed it slowing the more characters/character footprint my account has.

The game has improved I will give you that, I just wish they would solve the clipping issues, as well a couple of the issues they claim is wanted by the community (standing on horses dragging your bow between your leg) But the game looks beautiful today, the network and game code still needs improvement.

I honestly cannot tell if this is a sarcastic post or not. ESO is notorious in the MMO world for how buggy the game is and the poor performance of the servers.

I re-installed the game a couple of days ago to see if it has improved, and this is how it went:
    1) Last boss of Blessed Crucible- My skills stopped working for approximately 20 seconds. I could still move, block, and weapon swap (the game did not freeze), but my skills did not work for 20 seconds.
    2) Last boss of Banished Cells II- The boss lifted me into the air out of bounds of the map and then eventually released me which caused me to die from fall damage instantly due to the height from where I was dropped.

    This was on PC NA.

I also tried out the PS5 version and experienced 2 crashes in less than 10 minutes.

The gameplay is far, far from polished and smooth.

No matter how great your PC or internet the crap servers/code wont let you use skills anyways.
I guess its fine if you just quest and roleplay, for endgame content pvp or pve it sucks

How DARE you come onto these forums and compliment the game devs! This forum is for fake tank and pvp complaints PERIOD. Move along sir.

That being said I agree totally. Even in Cyrodiil you can be rushing to a keep and in the middle of nowhere is a full fledged house with a garden, fences and the works for no reason. Even some of the fencing is busted. It takes time and thought to design that.

just finished Dragonhold which is buggy as hell and annoying even when it's not buggy. will never do that zone on other toons.

The UI might be nice for MMO players but it makes absolutely no sense to anyone else I dare to say.

I have never come across any non-MMO game where I would need to ask the community how I'm supposed to do something that's part of game function not content, e.g. buying items from trader and only to find it in mail after entering another zone, or the inventory says I can transfer something to a group member but not telling how, or the controller binding to toggle recap, ....
