Shadowfen Flower lead (Kilt)

I been at this for months, at least a few hours per week. It's really unenjoyable. ZoS, can you please just SEND me the kilt to compensate for how annoyed I am (joke). Are you ever going to adjust the absurd RNG for this lead?

If all else fails, you can always just order one I think :D

So the last update bug completely trashed the leads I had already found and I had to do this one all over again.

What worked for me this time was to log on at 5am est on a Monday morning (on PC/NA), mind you I am on pst... and farm the flowers only in the northernmost waterway on the map; there was no one there at all and so I did about 12 rounds/rinse repeat of all the spawns to myself before it dropped.

You mean the water node and water flower lead? Are you staying in one place and checking the same one over and over as it respawns, or running around checking every node you see? It's best to run around and check multiple nodes, because you can check more of them in the same amount of time than you can if you stand in one spot waiting for them to respawn.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Welcome to the club. For months I have been wasting so many hours with this lead that I think there may be some bug. I even ran during night hours, looting a water node about every 30s, still no lead. This is the MOST FRUSTRATING LEAD EVER DESIGNED.

Funnily I spent days trying to find this lead shadowing the watery edges, back and forth. The first time I tried a water sack on top of a big hill nowhere near water I got it ...

I'm sorry you are having such a tough time. I've been lucky I guess. On my third Kilt now, just need two other leads. All together I may have less than 2 hours for all three times. Rng can punish some. Cheers.

Isnt Kilt useless next patch coz the crit damage cap is 125% ? In trials anyways and dummy parsing, you would be well over cap.

i knew this would happen. thats why i never really put my back into farming the sucker.

"125%" means my character sheet that says 34% crit damage will now effectively be reduced to 125%?

I got the first kilt on day 2, ps4, and I've never used it. I just wanted to finish out the codex. The most used mythic for me is wild hunt and pale. But, as far as node spots, I just ran the outer edge on the first lead. The second was just checking a random node and got lucky. The third lead took longer due to farmers, so I ran the center river and hit a string of plant nodes.

This isn't entirely accurate. Your character sheet shows 34% if you hover over the tooltip it says that this is in addition to the base 50% of bonus crit damage. So you would have 84% bonus crit damage and could potentially still use the 10% from the Kilt to reach the 125% bonus crit damage cap.

The kilt stacks also increase your critical strike chance allowing for more crits to happen.

    @Rudrani

Greetings. I read about your dilemma here. Recently I found all of the remaining mythics.

So for this particular one, I found the lead in a water node. If you look at a heat map of Shadowfen (or traverse it frequently) you'll notice some things. First notice the main river that runs across top of the zone and then down the East side (part of it also straggles along the south side of the map).

My lead was found in the upper half of that river, east of Stormhold I think. The farming process took 2 days, about 8 hours total. Most of the best locations for water nodes, hyacinth or nirnroot are going to be along the North and East river banks. There are in fact a few areas in there that are rather dense in nodes, unless someone is farming them which people frequent this area often. But the nodes are there. With that said I would stay away from farming the southern zone as there are some nodes there but no where near as much.

    Hope that helps, gl.
