I did a newbie error a few months back, when I'd only been playing ESO for a few months. My starting zone was Western Skyrim, and I happened to trigger a quest called "The Fading Fire". I was definitely unprepared for that one! 
The large, aggressive mobs in the Labyrinthian public dungeon... well... mobbed me, and I died repeatedly. I had no idea at the time that I'd entered a public dungeon (I was still getting the feel of the different types of locations in ESO and their challenges), and I was so unprepared for it.
Do you have any amusing anecdotes to share, of your own newbie errors?

MaisonNaevius✭✭✭✭✭I never correctly set my screen resolution. Suddenly, without knowing it, I saw everything in wide but it was normal for me.
I obviously created my first characters on this resolution ... I couldn't understand when friendly players told me that my characters were terribly thin.
