If more DLC Dungeons were like Red Petal Bastion, I'd actually actively play Veteran DLC Dungeons.

Maybe it's just my perspective since I exclusively play as a Tank, but RPB might just be my favorite Dungeon in this game.

The level design is awesome, the mechanics are amusing, and the bosses are actually fun? Even the side stuff like fighting the secret bosses and getting their rewards were a blast!

And none of the bosses had terrible mechanics. No "Insta-Kill if you don't do this" garbage, no serious DPS or Heal Checks. Just "pay attention and your life won't be frustrating." Hell, the first guy with the Goat magic actually had me and my group laughing!

It's such a departure from the frustrations of most other DLC Dungeons. The Dread Cellar and it's nightmare of micromanagement on the final boss being a good example.

And I understand that some people want a "real challenge" when it comes to this stuff. Something that makes them want to drive their fist through their monitors. I get it. But that's what each boss having a hard mode is for now! And if that's not enough, then I'm sorry, but wanting to have a difficult experience shouldn't make things miserable for the rest of us.

Tldr: Red Petal Bastion was incredible and I hope to see more content like it in the future.

True, even if I enjoyed the Dread Cellar too in another way ! I think ESO dungeons are the main advantage of this game, compared to any other "big" mmo who focus on raid rather than allowing small group to enjoy content too !
    I'm a single character man.
    Stamblade. Khajiit. Mostly pvp.
    And...that's it.

Agree!First time my mates and me run the dungeon it was on veteran and it was even easier & quicker than WGT :D
I had a pretty easy job as healer and we all did enjoy it.
    Total ESO playtime: 8325 hours
    ESO plus status: Cancelled
    ESO currently uninstalled.

RPB is one of my top three favorite dungeons. Can't say the same for DC, but hey, at least one of them was fairly entertaining.
    Bobo the Cowardly | Warden | Healer/MagDPS
    Spooky-Scary-Skeletons | Necromancer | MagDPS
    Incoherent-Screeching | Nightblade | MagDPS

    I agree OP.

The hardmodes for the dungeon was fun too without being RNG based. Many times how the mechs spawn may decide if you're lucky or not. Example is how the ghost walls of fang lair hm spawn or how the statues in scale caller pop may decide if you're lucky or not, since they one-shot. You can position yourself to increase your odds but sometimes you're just unlucky. eeee

RPB had walls but they didn't one-shote, but if you wasn't aware of the AOEs, interrupts and walls it may make your day.. longer.

They were fun and not filled with one-shot mechanics so yeah I agree. Good dungeon.

Haven't ran in yet but I'll probably get to it soon with my regular group.

But I already know I will love it, since it's finally some Breton content! We know there's thousands of knightly orders all over High Rock, but thusfar the only ones we've seen featured or explicitly mentioned in recent TES games are those tied to either cities/regions or specific Divines. So the Order of the Red Petal is as far as I know the first time we're shown an example of one of those numerous other knightly orders not specifically affiliated with either of these, and it gives a good insight to what kind of vibe or atmosphere they can have. So for that reason alone Red Petal Bastion is amazing imo!

Lorewise this is the same kind of awesome as to when we were shown the different khajiit breeds in Elsweyr, that were only vaguely mentioned before.
