CharlieFreak✭✭✭No offence against you, Moriz, as this is just how things are right now.
However I cannot begin to describe how sick of this I am after 3 days. Doubt I'll play BGs until something gets changed.
Just tonight there were three sorcs doing this nonstop. It's really not fun to spend the whole BG running to a flag, getting pulled into convergence and endless Daedric Tombs over and over and over, dodge rolling out, barely a couple seconds go by and sucked right back in. It's just ridiculous.
Compound that with the fact that there seems to be no way to predict how much Hrothgar will hit for. Sometimes it's 5k, but often more like 10-15k. I think the most I've been hit for is 22k. That's not even reasonable in any way for a freaking proc.
Apparently, from reading the other threads on Hrothgar, it may be bugged right now. If you are not the original recipient of the stun that triggers it - it seems to bypass battle spirit?7 -

I personally have no problem avoiding the damage from Dark Convergence and I rarely take any significant damage from it.
Hrothgar is dumb tho and I hope they nerf it to the ground. Until then I am absolutely going to use it6 -

That's how gaming companies do business now * Every dlc they try to sale it. this has always been ZOS. This isn't an esport or extreme competive game to take seriously. Just have fun and buy the dlc grab the sets and say your the best in the world. 🤣0 -

Finally we are not forced to farm stupid PvE content to get nice PvP gear, but you still complain[snip]

Yeah, I meant what I said. I don't fault you for doing it. It only makes sense to use the best current gear and combos available. No reasonable person could fault you for it. And clearly you're a good player.
You're right. Dark Convergence is easy to avoid, until you run out of stamina from dodge rolling it so many times. As a sorc you can streak out I suppose, but for mag classes with a limited stamina pool and no streak, eventually they'll get you with it, and of course a couple Hrothgar's will be on the death cap to seal the deal.

All ground effects look the same to me so I mostly ignore red and charge into certain death when it's on BG objectives...
no idea how people avoid that, unless they don't do objectives or support teammates?

techyeshic✭✭✭✭✭DC gets you even outside the circle. Maybe that's something with primetime Cyrodiil, though. To go with double and triple break free, or so many dark convergence being dropped that you get pulled into 1 that's already doing damage.

Well, of course! Didn't you know they're renaming Battlegrounds (so pedestrian) to Converging Hrothgar Wars!
All jokes aside. I have both as well and haven't decided. I'm thinking that all these sets are going to get 'adjustments' soon, but then again, that could take awhile before that happens.2 -

DC isn't fine. If a group of 100+ players go up against 10-15 players defending the keep you would expect the 100+ players to take the keep. But thanks to DC it isn't as easy as that. 5 well placed attacks wiped quite a bit of100+ group out. Than some players were killed during pick up and more well placed attacks that caused DC damage wiped out more players. What should have been an easy capture became an improbable one. It took some well planned moves but eventually the keep was over taken.
I'm sure the Devs are capturing data and will use it in the future to adjust the sets and that may make them less likely to be used. It has happened before and it will happen again.

Mostly; I see the larger group running the most.DC taking out smaller groups easier because the smaller groups are getting pulled every 6 seconds. All these prices do is make it to where there is no need to outplay the other side. Just have more Procs.1

Come on now. I know you like using it. But it's not fine in BG. It's tolerable in IC. But it's absolute cancer in BG. The amount of sorcs doing exactly what you do increases everyday. Any flag game = sorcs standing on the outside and spamming mines and converg on the flag. No one thinks it's fine. It's the MOST complained about tactic I see in there.0 -

i mean, i am saying it. i not only can say its fine, but i actually showed it too on a video. and in the video i showed it, it wasn't against ordinary players either, it was against people who know how to play pvp in ESO
(big DISCLAIMER is that i'm talking only about BGs. i can see it being a problem if you have 74 people using it somewhere in cyro)
Hrothgar though... on the other hand. very problematic set yeah. I'm with ya'll on the Hrothgar nerf waiting room
If anything DC is just annoying and forces you to play differently.
I personally was having much more fun overall pvping on the previous patch, but I mean it's not really a big deal because it's very easy at this point to obtain said OP pvp sets and everyone can be figthing at equal grounds.

Every time some one blocks my toppling charge they negate the hrothgar, running immovable pots so you can't be stunned...Hrothgar won't bother you.
I think people just get so used to a play style their worlds get turned upside down over night and ... yea here we are.0
