PS4/PS5 Text Chat HUD

There seems to be an issue on PS5 when you go to text in, in-game chat on a keyboard the PS5 on screen keyboard doesn't go away like it used to pre-patch. Is this a bug and if so can this be fixed? if it's not a bug can you try and revert this change as it's very annoying and was better the way it was before
