Vibrations while lockpicking (PS4)

Ever since the update, I swear it feels like the vibrations while trying to lockpick are weak, and only slightly intensify *right* before the release point. I tried with three different controllers and it's been the same with each one. Master locks typically take me 8 seconds, but with the vibrations feeling so weak now, I've timed out of multiple chests. Didn't realize how important the haptic feedback was until now. Not sure if it's something with the game or maybe a PS thang. Anyone else having this issue?

There's a change for sure, but I've found it more useful myself. Feels smoother.

I’m only on PS4 and I feel a difference in the last patch. The rumble from the controller is much less than before and the feel is “mushy” as someone else described in another thread.

I rely on the visual jiggle of the pin, I dunno if there is a vibration setting on gamepad mode for PC, if there is I would find that quite annoying. I also have either youtube or sirius xm playing on the other monitor so I barely hear in-game sounds, game music is turned off.

I’ll have to check and see but the coding for vibrations may have been changed so that PS4 and PS5 controllers can play nice with either version of the game.

It is softer and more difficult to ‘feel’… I thought my controller was broken at first….
