Large pieces of glass or cloud with mass?

Looking for something that would allow me to walk on the sky or water. Any ideas? I put platforms and bridges but they block the view completely.
Or something like the mess of stones in the Hall of the Lunar Champion, with lots of gaps that I cannot fall through, but larger pieces.

not necessarily glass but allow me to see what's below the object, or at least part of it (the more the better!)
I'm trying to make very wide sky bridges on top of lake in the Hall of the Lunar Champion. The items are preferably thin, not like huge cubes or houses.
