Where would you like to go in 2022?

Now that the Q3 DLC is out for consoles and we wait for Q4, where would you like to go in 2022?

Even though Skyrim things are still recent, I'd like to go to Winterhold as I think the College of Winterhold would make for great content. We would also be able to see what the city would look like pre-destruction.

Next year is also Morrowind's 20 year anniversary, so it would also be cool to see Eastern or Western Morrowind, being Blacklight or Necrom.

My first choice by far would be Pyandonea. More Morrowind would also be good. Anywhere but Skyrim to be honest.

Pyandonea seem the best obtion. Fresh Location, new race, new lore. No pressure for adding new class and class blance issue. I think alot player will wellcome that idea, and the rest will buy the expansion bcoz of curiosity about the new island.

They have given us so much content, so many new lands to explore and I will be forever grateful about the rate at this which they have been pushing out this content.

Going into 2022 however, I think now would be a good time to park it, and to instead improve older areas of the game so that they are comparable to the updated fidelity seen in the newer zones.

Apocrypha would be a good choice from my perspective. (Finally get a chance to use the Oghma infinium under supervision of Hermaeus Mora.)
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

Think we are going to Hammerfell, eso likes to give hints in current content and in greymoor we came across a few red guards that name dropped a few locations in hammerfell we don’t have yet.

Seems to be a trend that a chapter hints at not next years content but the one after…so my bets would be the Sunhold area of Hammerfell.

Tbh I would want all the map filled and beyond. :)

    More ColdHarbor!

Maybe an underground area like BlackReach - with all those beautiful graphics!

    Love the Daedra stuff!

Preferably somewhere in Cyrodiil or High Rock. Blackwood wasn't really the Cyrodiil chapter I was expecting, it was more of a Black Marsh/Leyawiin hybrid.

I would love more Imperial lore, and the knightly aesthetic of Red Petal Bastion has got me excited to see more Breton stuff.

Skingrad has been in the game files for years, so maybe we'll see something that links Western Cyrodiil to Hammerfell.

Northeastern mainland Morrowind still hasn't been explored, and neither has Whiterun nor Winterhold. There's also a ton of Black Marsh yet to be released, but honestly marshland and swamps isn't really my kind of thing.
And so, Akatosh revealed himself to a young Gaben, and granted him purpose.
"Grant them Steam sales," he commanded.
    And obey, he did.

The Colovian estates, with Skingrad, and southern Hammerfell. Like the Blackwood chapter being part Cyrodiil, and part Black Marsh.

I am quite certain we will go to Hammerfell next, but what I would be looking forward to (assuming it can meet my expectations) would be more of Morrowind.

Also since this is thread is about possible future releases, in order to help people inform their opinions on the possibilities I'll leave a more accurate map than the current ingame map here, courtesy of @BroughBreaux

Somewhere where there isn't another major apocalypse/daedric prince ready to take over/OMG it will be the end of the world as we know it.

Give us some political intrigue, spies, hard decisions, competing factions etc

(And yes I am guessing Hammerfell)

Elder Scrolls VI is confirmed to be Hammerfell, so I'm not so sure they will release that only 1-3 years before the Single-player game gets released...

Think there is plenty of locations in game now so I'd rather see content added to zones we already have. Maybe do an cyrodiil zone meant as pve but do it like the original craglorn where the content & entire area is meant for groups. I'd really like to see DC zone improved to have more breton influence

Elder Scrolls VI is confirmed to be Hammerfell, so I'm not so sure they will release that only 1-3 years before the Single-player game gets released...

So? ESO already made Craglorn, Hew's Bane, Alik'r and Bangkorai before TESVI could. They are already working together with Bethesda Game Studios, so if anything the teams now can share workload when it comes to designing the new zone.
Besides, as you pointed out yourself, it's still three years before TESVI, Star Field is still in development and they said they wouldn't work on TESVI until they finished Star Field. Which means that ESO would have to do 3 chapters before the release of TESVI. One of them has to be in Hammerfell, since ZOS said they are trying to avoid content fatigue by switching up the climate as much as they can. That means no Skyrim next year, no Blackmarsh and no Cyrodiil. Maybe Morrowind but that is also an area that already had a chapter while Hammerfell still didn't get one. And even if that is the case and Morrowind is next, it would only mean a repeat of this situation in 2023.
A Hammerfell chapter will release before TESVI. Might as well be now.
There are also clues in Blackwood to possible plot lines that could be explored in a Hammerfell chapter.

    I mean...
    • Aldmeris
    • Pyandonea
    • Yokuda
    • Atmora
    • Padomaic Ocean Islands
    • Akavir

They'll have to do them eventually, right?

Unless TES VI is (curveball)--One of the above!! I'd take that too!

ZOS said they won't leave Tamriel until all the blank spots on the map are filled. So out of all of those only the Padomaic islands and Pyandonea are really worth considering, although I doubt ZOS considers them a priority. Aldmeris and Yokuda are gone and we'll probably never see them even after the entire map is filled, unless it's in the past, which would be tricky but not impossible I guess. Adding to the list, Thras would only happen if we'd get underwater content or ZOS pulled a WoW and makes it like Nazjatar, both somewhat unlikely but definitely more possible than a time travel chapter.

Well, in Greymoor's public dungeon, there's a time traveller (supposedly he's from the future), so it could be possible to do a timewarp type of chapter for those continents/islands.

But either way, can you point to me where they said they'd fill Tamriel map first? That should be bigger news! haha
