Console Performance mode - your thoughts post patch?

I have reported some issues with performance mode that I have noticed since using it post patch, which has caused the frame rate to be more unstable, especially when rotating the camera in cities/populated areas. I have also noticed going into public dungeons the frame rate can really chug at times. 99% of the time, it feels really smooth, but pre waking flame, it felt like butter through out and I did not notice any drops what so ever.

I have seen a couple of other people mention this issue, but nothing wide spread so I just wanted to get your guys thoughts on it to see if any of you have noticed any stutters/dips in frame rate temporally when playing.

It's not great with the variable resolution. Wish they'd have made it a toggle so I could keep it as it was

    Overall it’s nicely done.

But to replace the pre-Waking Flame “Performance” mode with a version that performs worse? We used it for PERFORMANCE -_-

Performance: Nice graphics. Very stable 60FPS.
Fidelity: Maximum graphics, perfectly stable 30FPS.

That doesn’t make sense at all lol. It would have been a great option to toggle on/off. Or they could make a new graphics setting called “Dynamic”.

So unfortunately I dislike this change and so does every single ps5 player I’ve seen talk about it. ZOS did it good job with creating dynamic resolution scaling but it should not be forced onto what used to be an actual Performance mode. Now we get FPS drops, stutters, etc.... smh. I want 60FPS far more than I care about slightly better graphics on that setting.

Completely agree, as it's a toggle option it needs to live up to the name. Those choosing performance are doing it for rock solid frame rates, not stutters, dips and overall jankiness when playing.

I really hope ZOS are able to look into this and resolve the issue, though my fear is it will just be left as it is.

I just finished the final quest of the Blackwood MQ, and the final fight I saw dips for several seconds that turned the game into a slide show. Sure it was only a few seconds, but this is not what we want from a PERFORMANCE mode.

Please ZOS, fix this as it's getting extremely irritating

Same old, same old. Nerf, nerf, nerf.. Same ole clunky combat sequences. Same ole weapon skills delay and misfiring. Same ole bugs and glitches. Same ole new bugs and glitches coming along with each new patch, DLC and chapter release. Just glad the characters, graphic and environment still look awesome.

I have just tried the Series X version and it seems to be running ALOT smoother than my PS5 version.

But considering the recent events, and with it being a Microsoft console, say no more.
