Had to give a shout out to ZOS for the Harrowstorm and Summerset geyser active icons on the map. It's REALLY nice know which ones are active so we aren't porting all over the darn place. Thank you, ZOS!

Lol, I suggested the harrowstorm icon thing quite some time ago and they added it before the last patch, not sure exactly when because I was done with the zone long before then.

I suggested it would cut down on the number of times players fast-traveled around to find an active harrowstorm and would improve game performance.

Yeah, but they're activated more regularly, so it's not such a big deal. Anyway, the way players grind dolmens, if you could see on the map when one is active then by the time you got there everyone would already have melted the last boss and would be riding back to the nearest wayshrine.

Well, they don't need to as they are in a strict rotation. Once you are at an active site then you know exactly where to go for the next one.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

Only popular zones have strict rotation. But while leveling companions through fighters guild quests i could really use same markers for zones like stonefalls or reapers march, it was very annoying to ride across map for dolmens that are not even active.

I can agree to a point, although I don't usually have to wait very long before a dolmen finally pops.

I think the "reliable" rotation that's often seen in highly-frequented zones is due to groups of players triggering them in a given order, isn't it? So it's possible for a "lone wolf" player (who would probably be me) to come along and throw a monkeywrench in the "established" order.
