Not everyone does, but the vast majority of groups take off at full speed without even a “hello”, and pull bosses assuming everyone has done things before.
You aren't obligated to say hello when queuing into something to play the game.

I cancelled my subscription just to avoid DLC dungeons and it has made my random dungeon experience so much more enjoyable.
You can, but unsubscribing is insane to solve a solution that should be available in game.
A "solution" to a non existing problem.. and if people don't like pugs, then there are guilds and friends
It's not a non-existing problem. And it's not even about pugs.
Fact: Non DLC owners have an easier random dungeon queue.
Fact: DLC dungeon owners have a harder random dungeon queue.
Those are indisputable facts. The dungeon queues are already disproportionately easier for non DLC owners. With no options for DLC owners to make the queue the same as non owners. That is a problem. And it becomes even more of a problem as more DLC dungeons are released into the queue. 24 non DLC dungeons and 22 DLC dungeons. This should be two queues.
Also a fact that ESO+ members from time to time find themselves wanting to do a dungeon. When they do the random queue is there to help them find a group just like it helps non ESO+ members find a group for the dungeon they want to do. You are not asking to help ESO+ members. You are asking to punish them by making it so the random queue no longer caters to their needs.
We have the queue to help people fill groups. It needs to work for all players whether they have ESO+ or not. If they do add the option to opt out of DLC dungeons doing so should lower the rewards to 20%. Maybe even 10%.

Not really asking to ruin ESO+ players experience. Asking for there to be a choice in what random queue you enter.
And honestly, what point is there is funneling people who don't want to do a set of dungeons into them just to fill a spot? More often they just leave the group immediately, which just then takes longer to fill the slot. Or they stay and are woefully unprepared for it and waste the time of everyone who actually wants to be there.
Separate the queues and you then get exactly the players who want to be in the dungeons in the queues. If you feel like running some DLC dungeons, you join the random DLC queue. If you feel like knocking out a quick base game random dungeon, you join that queue. It's hard to say, in the current state, that the dungeon queue is truly random when 1 portion of the player base doesn't have half the dungeons in their queue and the other portion of the player base has no way to get a similar queue.

So you think that people only quit DLC dungeons? That would be very wrong.. Tanks/healers, the ones that in my experience are the most likely to quit, do so because the dungeon will probably take longer than the 15 min ban you'll get for leaving.. And that has nothing to do with DLC.. And I'll stand by my saying that the dungeon finder works exactly as it should, allowing everyone in.. There is no need for another queue, dividing up the player base.. If one does not like a pug, they should form a group of their own
1) making 2 queue for dlc / non-dlc is not an option, almost no one will queue for dlc dungeon... if u are the one that try to farm a set from one of those dlc dungeon, but now, their is 80% less people doing them cause no one queue it will even be more painfull...
2) giving half transmute for a non-dlc dungeon is not an option too, their is people that can't afford to buy a subscription or can afford to buy the dlc dungeon itself... penalizing them is not an option...
best solution is premade group with friends/guildmates... and that works for anything!

IDK why you keep bringing this to Pugs. This has zero to do with Pugs. This has everything to do with players wanting to be able to have the same experience as other players. And that is not possible once you spend money on the game. You are immediately excluded from having the same dungeon running experience. The moment you buy a DLC you can never have the same experience as a player who hasn't. Allowing players who haven't purchased anything extra to ALWAYS have an easier random dungeon queue. But you keep deflecting to Pugs and putting together your own group. Which is wholly irrelevant. And in fact, putting your own group together to run the random queue still doesn't allow you to exclude lengthier, or more difficult, DLC dungeons. You still get thrown into everything, unless you jump through stupid hoops to have a low level player or a player without DLCs in the group. Needing to jump through those hoops to have a more even experience is absurd.

If no one would ever queue for the DLC dungeons, then maybe that's a good thing. Maybe Zos needs to rethink their approach to DLC dungeons if the majority of the playerbase hates them so much. Maybe having 4 of them a year is a waste of resources. All the queue does in it's current form is force people into them who have no real choice in the matter.

Random daily dungeon via group finder is something most people do for easy exp or 10 transmute. I don't wanna deal with newbies slowing the group down or in some cases making it impossible to progress. not my job. if you wanted to do dlc dungeons try forming a pug via zone chat, ask friends or join a guild.
or make it so only your first daily random dungeon pool lacks dlc dungeons.afterwards it works as usual.

So as it currently stands only paying players have to find solutions to get around a nonsense queue.
