Disappearing Weapons

PC NA Server. I've got a mace & shield on the backbar. 2H Battleaxe on front bar. It happens very often and intermittently. I haven't been able to nail down what causes it exactly. I have noticed it seems to happen more often when fast travelling wether the 2H is drawn or sheathed. It disappears though when I unsheathe it. Running around, using abilities, in combat he's got his hands/arms out like he's holding a 2H weap but nothing's there. instead there's a mace dragging the ground under his feet when the weapon in his hands disappears. The mace under his feet also glitches out too & it's combined with a battleaxe. Just dragging under the feet. Someimtes my shield will disappear too in the same way excpet it's not dragging under my feet. The only way to fix either of these issues I've found is to unequip the item & reequip it.

same here even with dual daggers front bar and bow back bar or sword and shield for both front a and back bar very irritating only un-equipping and re equipping a weapon from your current load out will fix this for a short time wondering why this has not been addressed as it is something that is needed to effectively play the game if i have what bar active if nothing in my hands i cant tell what i'm doing and lose track of my weapon swapping cause idk what weapon i'm using its game breaking and needs to be addressed its been around for the longest time at least two to three years id appreciate if some one would finally take care of this small but big issue thank you!

Been playing since 2014, and not once have had this bug happen; however, with my new Necro chr, the bow on the main bar consistently (I'd estimate at least 80% of the time) vanishes when entering delves or other interior locations, and even sometimes outdoors as well.

Possible solution: Go to the outfit style preview page in your inventory menu, select a different style for the weapon that has disappeared, then exit. Your weapon(s) should be visible again, hopefully. Repeat as needed, I guess.....

ZOS is aware of this issue, and tirelessly endeavoring to correct it..... .....right?

This bug crops up now and then, only way you could have missed it is by never playing tank or dual wield, usually it's the 2nd item (shield or offhand) that would disappear but now it seems to occasionally be both, you can "fix" by just un-equipping and re-equipping your offhand or switching to that bar and reloading/traveling there's no loss of damage or skill usage, it's just graphical

This bug has been around since last year & it's been reported, but nothing has been done about it.

It also ties in with the bug where your weapon is shown on the ground at your feet.

A reloadui normally fixes it, but we shouldn't have to.

Since I'm now having the same issues I'm guessing there are no further updates on this?

Again I've got Dual Wield on Bar 1, and Bow on Bar 2.

Bow on Bar 2 always appears, but the Dual Wield on Bar 1 more often than not the weapons now disappear.

First time it happened i was in the middle of a fight, I thought some sort of spell had been cast to rip the weapons from me (remember you could do that in Srkyrim), and that I was fighting barehanded. As I tried to workout what had happen, and how to get my weapons back I was killed.

My StamNecro's front bar greatsword goes missing 99% of the time I get placed in a Battlegrounds match. It's crazy.

It happens a lot outside of them, but it's just about every single Battlegrounds match right as soon as I spawn in.

Re reading Morimizo's post perhaps the problem is to do with applying styles?

I've applied styles to the Dual Wield weapons (which disappear) but not the bow (which doesn't), and I never had the problem before I applied the styles.

Since I started playing last year I get a bug where weapon either disappears or it appears as wrong weapon. Like a staff appearing as a greatsword.

After last patch I have same problem: two-handed sword disappears when I tp to the dungeon. Helps only equip-requip

There was already a topic on this from the last week, it would have been better to add to that one rather than bring up one from 2019!

You can most likely fix this by having the hide polymorph helmet option on, you can find it under settings/gameplay.
