Where to start with the new event

I've been playing for a few weeks, but I don't really know what to do with the new event. I suppose if I wait long enough, someone will make a guide, however, if I wait long enough, it'll be over too.

You get bonus loot from activities in Wrothgar and Craglorn. You'll get an Event Ticket if you complete a daily quest in either zone.
    Accessible via wayshrine.
Craglorn is base game and Wrothgar is available in the Orsinium dlc.

You also get bonus stuff in Imperial City and if you complete a daily quest in there you get another Event Ticket.
Imperial City is accessible via the Campaigns menu.

    Edit:
Here's a link to the official description of the event.

There are plenty of community guides available already.
Here's a yt link for one of them:

    Great advice above.

Were it me starting out with only a few weeks in the game and knowing what I know after playing ESO for years, however, I'd ignore this event. I know as a newbie, trying to jump into an event would simply confuse me while I am still trying to figure the basics out. There are numerous events every year and one is always just around the corner. :)
PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

Generally speaking every ESO event consists of

    - Intro quest (which you can usually ignore)
    - Do one or more daily quests in Zone X Y and Z for 2 or 3 tickets
    - Get double drops in Zone X Y or Z
    - Special items for the event you can get with tickets, often items that build in parts across 2 or 3 events.

It's sometimes a shade more complicated because the daily quest is actually a series of tasks.

There are a couple that usually differ. The Jester's Festival has its own set of daily quests and boss, the anniversary does require you do the (easy) intro quest and is game wide.

Too many toons not enough time
