I respectfully disagree. I was able to furnish it quite comfortably on PTS and still had slots left over to add to the outside. I remember people saying the same thing about Pridespire Manor and I had no problems making it look full and homey.
If you are building another structure or reskinning your entire house then sure you'd likely not have enough slots to do it justice. But if you're using in game furniture and items, there is more than enough room to make a home cosy.3 -

The house alone can easily be 700 furnishings.

Third floor- 125 furnishings
Basement- 75 furnishings

And then I think I may be done with housing for a good long time as I'll actually then have all the types of house I have wanted. It won't be. Don't hope for something that will never happen.
Houses that can be bought for gold release along with a new chapter.
Houses released at any other point cost crowns, with the furnished and unfurnished versions having a value difference of a few thousand crowns (excluding the seemingly one "free" house we get a year now, with Doomchar Plateau being this year's)1 -

LOL, with Pantherfang and Seatwater you should be busy for a year. Sweatwater Cascades is tempting (you don't know how tempting) but this sinkhole that is housing is putting me into the poor house. Pretty soon I'll be dancing like a monkey in Leyawiin for chump change.
