Do Large Homes Go on Sale?

Do the large homes ever get discounted in the experience of those here? What about the medium sized ones?

The only "special sales" I've ever seen are for houses that are only available at certain times of the year or once every several years-- and AFAIK those are always offered at the same prices, never discounted.

Are there any particular houses you're most interested in? And are they Crowns-only houses or houses that can be purchased with in-game gold?

Never discounted but sometimes coincidence with a crown sale, like Patherfang Chapel overlapped a bit with the quakecon sale.

Reminds me to ask - anyone have any idea how much Sweetwater Cascades will sell for? Probably lots of crowns, right?

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. I wound up with a full-blown thing when I looked at it.... but we'll have to see.

Can confirm, houses never have sales. At least they never have so far.

However, you can purchase furnished versions with gold now through the gifting system. Granted it would cost a mint (like 10 million or more for a large furnished home) but at least it's an option now. Before you could only get the unfurnished version of normal houses with gold and the special limited time ones not even that.

EDIT: Kinda like real life, only rich people can afford houses.

Eh, not always. We aren't "rich" (though we do have enough to live comfortably after retiring) - we built this house ourselves starting in 1985 and mostly finishing in 1992 a couple years before husband retired. We actually put only about $20k into it (legacy after husband's parents died), and at that point it was livable. We did everything ourselves except electrical, plumbing, and the fireplace....

Heh. We were a lot younger then.

The only house I saw in sale even twice was the Lucky Cat Landing in Southern Elsweyr.

I thought I had seen a couple of ESO+ housing sales in the past (when I was on the PS4) but perhaps not.

Now I just want a bigger house to store things in for a good price.

Coldharbor seems effective for that, even if it is not attractive.

I would get the globe home, but it is not as vital now that I have the BeamMeUp addon and it is not available until the end of the year.

Only being able to put 2 storage lockers in a small home is very limiting.

Moon Sugar Meadow was also on sale during the last Elseweyr event.
