There is a New MegaBot in Bleackrock!
@ZOS_GinaBruno
Can you please point us in the right direction to do mass reporting?
I have teams of people identifying bots. At any given time , I have over 100 psns of Current Bots.
I have spreadsheets of Bots selling in Guild Stores, of which guilds are linked together, and actual bot "masters" or programmers selling in these cheating guild stores.
I have encountered 3 bot masters, who are still running around today, after being reported several times. 2 of them took me on a tour, spawned and despawned their bots, and showed me which ones were there.
Reporting individual bots is useless, but where and who can we do Mass Bot Reporting to?
There are millions of us playing the game LEGITIMATELY, and we want the Same opportunities these large cheating Botting Guilds have.

if u ban all bots prices for gold mats will b e even more redicolous so i rather enjoy them not skyrocketing them even more - dont wanna spend 50k / dreugh

so why are u so mad about them they just make this stuff cheaper

Oh OK, so you are saying, "well, the guys down the street rob 7-11 every night, but they bring me discounted hotdogs, so im cool with it" The ESO market will even itself out. That old tired excuse for cheap mats by looking the other way on cheaters is just a guess, and a myth

Where is the issue with expensive mats? Players swim in gold and the game urgently needs more goldsinks. Ban them and its win-win for everyone.

Sad to see. I hope it makes it to the moderators.

Most don't feel pressure from these bots and some say it is in favor or market prices, but...just wait until it hits your domain..then we'll see ;)

"I" feel the pressure, as I try to sell my mats/tempers/rosins & stuff....They don't sell, because the "bot" guilds have the stuff so low in prices that you have to sell for pennies.....

And I'm not a farmer, so my stuff, that I collected over TIME, becomes nothing $$ wise, since the bots are selling so cheap and have flooded said market....

And no, I'm NOT swimming in gold....

It's taken me weeks to get to 100k gold via selling...

And I'm really tired of having to sell stuff so CHEAPLY!

Technically selling to other players is not a gold sink, just gold transference.

I mean I guess ZoS disappears a small % from the guild fee, but it's not like selling to a merchant where the gold actually goes *poof*.

But some people like to farm and sell mats. Bots make it not worthwhile, thus eliminating or minimizing a playstyle.

Imagine if bots invaded Cyrodiil and using software with optimized algorithms started running around deleting all the actual players. But hey, they were selling all the RotW sets for cheap, so it's cool right?

Or if bots started running vHM trials with you, completely trivializing the content because they are so good at it. Would that still be fun now that it's so easy to get titles and styles?

See, that's on you though. You either farm yourself, or if you don't want to or don't have the time, you pay the people who are going out of their way to provide you those mats. You're essentially saying your time is worth more than that of the actual players farming things to sell, which is just a selfish outlook. If you don't want to pay, take some time out of your PvP and trials and farm the things yourself.

If you can't bother getting the materials yourself, pay the players who do. Justifying bots because you think prices are too high is sad. (Also they are free if you invest your own time, instead of undervaluing the time of others... Mind blowing, right?)

Well said 😊. It's about how unfair this is to a large pool of players that do soend playtime farming and then selling to make a profit. Bots undermine this and it's unethical on so many levels.

This is inaccurate. Gold sellers do more than run bots to farm matts. As such the gold they sell inflates the price of matts and everything else.

There are only two parties that benefit from these bots. The gold sellers and those buying the gold.

Oh, and bots are using third-party software to play their game. As such they are cheating which I see no justification for supporting said behavior.

On behalf of pvpers I ca assure you we don't fight for gold. Or gear. And we damn sure don't fight for those awful loot boxes we get sent every 20 minutes.

We fight for Honor. For loyalty. For an unwritten code that's seldom spoken that PvEers could never understand. For the friends we've made in Cyrodiil who are fighting alongside us. And for the fallen brothers and sisters we've lost these last seven years.

It's ok, we don't expect you to understand. Or to take up arms and fight with us. Just know- as you sleep soundly in your bed in Mournhold or Sentinel or Alinor tonight, that it's the men and women on the front lines in Cyrodiil allowing you to do so.

Okay so let's go with bots running around Cyrodiil getting to keeps before you can and killing near every player in the vicinity. Maybe you pick off a straggler from time to time but that is it. You get no honor because there is no fight. Would the bots bother you then?

Honor when killing pvers turning in quests in a door screen.....Loyalty for killing a over a half dozen times for trying to get into an IC crafting station...The unwritten code of built and geared for pvp players killing event only pvers....

If everyone in Cyrodiil packed their gear and headed home, everyone in other regions would still be sleeping soundly in their beds....mostly because whoever wins in Cyrodiil doesn't really affect anywhere other than Cyrodiil. You all keep on slaughtering each other for whatever reasons you can imagine. The "Bots" don't sell mats and collect gold to play the game or buy gear for their adventures. They farm that gold to sell for crowns on their main account or trade them for real money. Which in turn inflates crown:gold prices absurdly (which you can witness now) and as a direct result of that, mats or any other items that you can buy with gold, goes up in prices. So yeah, it's public service for someone who is as clueless as a duck.

people think that way until they start selling their own mats and stuff. Also that way will not allows you to swim in gold, cuz of some cool-story players/bots dropped the price to the ground for your Aetherial Dust you wanted to sell for 900k week ago.

So it's twofold situation - from buyers and sellers perspective looks very differently. We all want to sell high and buy low. Not gonna happen sorry.

So, I am finding there are 2 bot programmer accounts that frequent bleeakrock, that have almoat identical psns and character names. For the past week or so, ive been finding them standing in two different spots in bleakrock, casting twisting path in one spot for hours.
One of their bots does run through the path, but I can't see how it actually helps the bot, mybe hets them to a further node? Idk.

You are incorrect about that. There are bots selling in guild stores, there are bots selling in zone. Ive had bots that ive chased around try to trade with me. Theres a bot in north rimmen that stands there for hours, and I watch other bots AND players walk up to it and trade. Crown prices are not over inflated on ps4/5, Na server. The bots are not just selling Gold, for real life money, but mats also.

Also, what makes you think that PvE players don't RP honor codes just like you do? They fight alongside each other, have guilds that I am sure many consider to be their brothers and sisters, comrades and friends.

You think the bots here are bad. Get a load of this from Yongyea from a long while back:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g38nXTx_rZE
Long story short: Just to be clear in a similar case with eso, Bots are a problem because sure some think it is beneficial, but they are wholeheartedly responsible in most cases for massive Price Inflations that prove to be a Detriment, leaving it at that as a lot of Context is needed.
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.
