Magicka Necro - Avid Boneyard self synergy now has 1-2 seconds delay

Before Waking Flame patch we used to be able to use the synergy right after using the skill,
now it has a 1-2 seconds delay until the synergy pop-up.
This makes the skill insanely useless in PVP, as it was already hard to hit with the synergy before, now it's pretty much impossible.

xafiraSoul ShrivenI noticed this too and thought I was lagging, but it was just the delay after I tested it outside of PvP. Oh and if you cast it while spamming the synergy key, sometimes the synergy goes off but does not trigger the synergy cooldown, does absolutely nothing and you can't use it anymore. So you have to recast it and be patient and not spam the synergy key or this can happen again. This has been the most annoying thing by far and never used to happen (it used to just fire instantly).
It would be nice to get confirmation if this is intentional or a bug, because it's really frustrating for harmony necro users. Feeling like I'm lagging nonstop because of the change/bug is not fun at all... Did not see this on the patch notes.Edited by xafira on August 26, 2021 5:37AM0 -

Yes since waking flame there is a weird delay wich hits magcro extraordinary hard.
And i used the synergie of Nova right after the ultimate dropped but nothing happened.
Is this some kind of "nerf" to ballgroups or something?0 -

I initially thought that maybe it was a change meant to hurt harmony necro, but it's also bugged and doesn't work half the time. I'm so sick of casting it and using the synergy, then nothing happens and I have to recast it to use it even if I haven't used any other synergies. The synergy not firing when pressed and needing to be recast is definitely a bug, but is the DELAY intended?1 -
Nothing changed after the hotfix today.
I posted in a german bug thread about it aswell. (its better for me to describe the problem)
