Maintenance for the week of December 22:
• [COMPLETE] NA megaservers for maintenance – December 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)
• [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for maintenance – December 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)

I wish every chapter had a skill line to add.

The base game gave soul magic. I wish each chapter did something like that. It excites me to play some of my alts that I got bored of with any new skills added.

Unarmed, magical weapons (daggers, swords, mace, etc), variety of off-hands (torch, totem, spellbook, orb, incense, religious symbol), bard (focused on buffs and cc), spear, quarterstaff, flail, and rework staves into unique weapons and not just "stick with magic".

What about an ultimate ability that lets you charm an enemy and then if you use it again the enemy explodes. And the charm lasts for as long as you are in the zone/dungeon/trial. But it only works on things that can be stunned. Then you can get a neat pet for a while. That'd be fun to play with. Did anyone play an enchanter in everquest 2?

more stuff = more OP builds = more complaining in PvP because people love complaining instead of adapting ;)

I don't mind so much when a new skill line is added. But I don't favor adding new skill lines to new chapters. I like my alts to play through in the order the game is released and it disheartening to realize how darn long it will take for a new alt to get to, say, the Psijic skill line playing the way I like to play. If a new skill line is felt to be necessary, simply add it to the game, don't tie it to questing in a new chapter.

Agree, that was main refresher for an old content / characters personally. But I doubt that zos would commit to it.

That seems like an awful lot of skill lines of which there are already plenty given the limited # of slots (for which I am grateful).

Improvements or updates to existing skill lines seems a better choice to me.

I don't. I like that they added companions and antiquities to shake things up a bit. It would get stale if it was the same thing every time. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to a new skill line with the next chapter, as it's been a while.

I would honestly love to see Conjuring skill line so that everyone could have their own combat pet and summon atronachs, most ppl would be against it though

Yeah you are right. We got some nice variety each year. I look forward to the idea of another skill line coming still.

I think they could do a lot simply by reworking the existing skill lines. Over the past few years a lot of the skills have started to feel like copies, and I think giving them some more unique characteristics would do a lot to revitalize the game without adding a ton of new art and animations.
