Pantherfang Ideas for the Terrace Floor

I added "Solitude Platform, Ornate Tile" to the thrown room. It adds a nice regal touch to the room. I need ideas for the terrace. The "Solitude Platform, Ornate Tile" is to big for the part that's above the thrown. I could just leave the original floor but it would be nice to have it match the thrown room. I can add the "Solitude Platform, Ornate Tile" to every part of the terrace except the part that is above the thrown.

The main level for me is the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, eating, welcome areas. So, I turned that second level into an art gallery, gaming, music, and general hang out area. That space above the throne I’ve got some tables with stuff like that Solitude game, dice, and whatnot. It’s not fancy, but works well with what I did.

Great Ideas but I wasn't clear. I need Ideas about the floor. It's my fault my question was way to general.

I want the "Solitude Platform, Ornate Tile" or something like it on the terrace floor. The area above the thrown is the sticking point. The "Solitude Platform, Ornate Tile" wont fit there. I need something to put there that will compliment the main floor. The easy solution is to leave it as is, but I would like to upscale the floor a bit.

If i were you, id' place a blue rug, the blue breton or the blue and white redguard ones above the throne? The redguard might be a better match for the floors below ^^

I used 2 blue breton runners side by side and positioned it to get rid the border; it makes it look like wider rug. Not sure it's worth the slots to carpet the terrace. Just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.

You've set yourself a difficult task. It's bad enough (to me) that I'm going to have to eat slots putting in door and walls! I can't imagine redoing the floors as well. I might consider JUST sprucing up the throne area tho.

I carpeted the terrace and turned it into a library. I put the dinning tables in the throne room (main level). It's a work in progress but I like what I see so far.

So here is the thing, I bought Pantherfang for the Chapel, I really had no ideas when it came to the "Fort" area. I got the home furnished and I thought to myself that the way the fort area came was basically a good enough layout. I moved the kitchen location, but that was about it. So going with their initially layout of the terrace, I just detailed it a bit.

As you can see it is not too dissimilar to the initial furnished layout, just added detail.

Meanwhile the chapel I had a lot of fun with.

I still have some Imperial furniture that I have in my warehouses. I am strongly considering just taking out all of the Leyawiin stuff and just replacing them with appropriate Imperial items just so the home feels like I actually did something with it.

I just tried some things. The Elsweyr Floor, Masonry more or less fits. Also Markarth Floor, Square doesn't quite meet the edges but will better match the Solitude floor. A couple of Markarth Walkway, Stone may do the trick, too.
