Reminder about Rewards of the Worthy containers -- only open 1 per day

✭✭✭✭✭As a frequent PvPer I find myself opening up every single one till I have 5 left in my inventory for the specific purpose of the opening of one box a day in case I get burnt out or something. Remember one day during a MYM I had gotten so many rewards I claimed about 6-8 golden geodes from just the random chance of getting an additional one. My level 3 characters received 128 RftW mails from collecting the login rewards.
On my main account, I currently have 1000 crystals, 18 fifty crystal geodes and over 100 RftW containers.
I preserve my 50-crystal geodes until I need them. (I currently have over 60.) The smaller stuff gets opened as soon as it hits inventory. Most of my characters don't have a Ring of the Wild Hunt yet, so I'm far from running out of things to use crystals on.0 -
Pauwer✭✭✭✭✭I always thought you get one of those geodes once a day from rewards for the worthy. Like if you earn 10 a day, only the first will have it, regardless when you open the mails. And that this is per char, if you like pvp on 2 chars a day, you get 2 geodes, if you earn those rewards on both chars. I dunno, this is my experience, i always open them late and in one day. Have inbox full of them constantly.0

If the answer is that you're near your cap for crystal storage, it's probably time to use a few.

I mean, if I don't open these each day to every other day I'll NEVER get mail lol and I usually get between 2 and 5 geodes when I do open them. If I pved I probably would do your idea, but I pretty much only pvp unless I need to farm gear so this may be the difference. I'm also not at a loss for geodes because I make sure to get tier 1 rewards on even low characters each campaign to ensure that each gets the end of campaign geode. However, it is definitely beneficial to me to open these daily to every other day so this post is likely not geared to everyone.Edited by MiserynCompany on August 22, 2021 4:00PM3 -

It's the Year One celebration, or something like that. They've tweeted that it starts next Thursday and runs the usual 12/13 days to Tuesday. Beyond that, details can be found in the Help system in-game, by scrolling down to Events and under that to the specific one in question.0 -

So, when you play a lot of PvP. You don't need 400+ rewards for the worthy in your inventories. Especially not when you know you're gonna get another 5-10 of them tomorrow...

I also have a character whose sole responsibility is to retrieve, open, and deconstruct Rewards For The Worthy containers. He'll also now sticker all the new stuff and sell duplicates in the guild stores. 0 -

You can reconstruct monster shoulders where you know the entire stickerbook for 25 transmutes. You can decon later and get 25 back. Easy way to store extra. Not out of space, but I have about 100 ROTW containers spread across a few toons. I try to open one a day, but often forget. I just blew a crap load of transmutes gearing up a bunch of alts with medusa gear since rings were in the vendor, so definitely will be more proactive about it. That said, I never seem to get to zero, and sometimes I just open like 30 at once. Haha0 -
