Well, with money or a very good friend. Any vampire that's hit at least level 6 in the skill can get the passive to bite someone else once per week.

Well, there is a quest involved, but no elite enemies. Sooooo, maybe? The mobs are definitely around level 40ish (probably slightly lower), but that doesn't mean they're unbeatable in your 20s.

Also, for what it's worth, I got vampirism on my main around level 40. I was level 10 in that skill tree by 50, and I'd already had my ultimate morphed before finishing the main quest. So you can easily have the build you posted by VR content, even if you wait to be bitten.

I finished the quest at level 32, but it was tough. I only hit the mobs 1/3 of the time either with staff attacks or magicka skills, so it was a lot of kiting and spamming light attacks and praying my cc skills hit before I ran of of magicka.

That being said, it is doable for a lvl32. I would recommend being at least level 35, though, as the mobs you fight (10 of them, one at a time), are level 42. You also need to have a good amount of hp to survive part of the quest. I was told 1300 is the magic number, but judging from how much of my bar was left (I was at 1360 hp) you could probably get by with a bit lower.

I was able to do it on a lvl 20 nightblade with dual wield. just had to keep them stunned as long as I could. lots of deaths though :P

I did the quest last night as a lvl 18 Templar. It is possible. I quickly learned how to Kite and use a bow lol
Search YouTube for videos on Low Levels doing the Vamp Quest. Really helped give me some strategy ideas.

So to summarize everybody above me and my own experience:

Yes you can do it at a low level, I see the most success in the 20s though I've seen people succeed at earlier levels than that, just not as regularly

Bring a bow with you as bow kiting and DoTs (like soul trap) seem to be the easiest way, when you do the quest you should be given drain essence on your bar which is from the vamp tree, a 3 sec channeled stun/health drain.

Due to the level difference, a lot of powers will miss.

The enemies are lvl 42 cultists, they only melee attack, so its easier to kite them, and they are spread quite far apart, so its impossible to pull more than one unless you are specifically trying to.

Did it at 18 with my nightblade healer. The worm cult assassins are lvl 42 but not elite. I grabbed the first 2 one at a time and ran em up and down the staircase with just the movement speed sap and funnel health. It sucked, a few deaths, but it's possible.

I was bitten by a mob and did the quest at level 14 in the Aldmeri Dominion, (nightblade with the skill that makes you invisible, basic bow attack and kiting). I've seen lower characters doing it on youtube (and that is helpful to watch). I believe that if a vampire player bites you, you get the vampire skill line without having to do the quest, but don't quote me on that.

Sadly that is not the case, you still need to do that fun quest

at 7 as i mentioned i got my butt handed to me if i was not careful. but with some work i managed to get it.
