Hello!  @ArconSeptim here,

I have to write you from my second account which I created while ago just for this purpose.

Couple of years ago I have been a victim of phishing and ID hijacking and as a result from that I have suffered injustice from the system.

First of all I want you to read all of this and have in mind that I have red the rules about posting and I know what I am writing about here, so be respectful to me as well thank you.

Let me introduce myself a bit before I write out the issues here.

I have been playing Elder Scrolls Online since the beta testing weeks in 2013., it was one of the best experiences I had in such a early stage of a new game.

I played on the first day I think it was somewhere around last week in March 2014., in those early access days I met my best real life friend which I know since then, this game has not only brought me joy and happiness in the virtual world but it gave me a chance to meet my best friend in real life for which I am grateful.

Since then and throughout the years we have invested thousands of hours of active game time, done every achievement there is, almost all of the content.

I have participated in community PvP events, became Emperor couple of times, I was in the meetup of the community in Germany few years ago and met some of the members of ZOS and some of the familiar guild mates! :)

I think you know where I am going with this...I have invested so much time and love for this game that you can conclude that there would be no real reason for me to even think about cheating or exploiting or doing any other action against the TOS!!

I have taken few breaks from the game, I can say that I have played continuously the game since 2014.
Throughout that time span I don't even remember anymore how many times I took a pause from the game ( because real life events, school, work, felt bored of the game and waited for new content etc.).

In these certain points of the time I wasn't active in the game or I wasn't online and didn't play the game I have my suspicions that this was the period in which my account got hacked and exploited.

So I had to use my email I had on that account for years and next issue was I had to completely reset that email account because of breach that occurred on that email
After setting a new password, recovery methods and that awesome 2F-authenticator, I have investigated my email about any suspicious activities I had and I wasn't left out on that.

The person who hijacked my account from the email and using my ESO account was obviously profiting as I described I had all gear and lots of gold, costumes, mounts, houses and I had a small merchanting guild, don't even want to continue count all the things.

I was totally in shock and I couldn't believe that was happening, It is so infuriating and disappointing to me.

I have never done anything against the TOS nor I plan or want or have any benefits or doing so.

It is not fair that many streamers public figures from Twitch - YouTube etc. have been allowed to play the game even after doing same actions against the TOS for few times and being forgiven because they represent influence and promotion of the game.

I am doing the same thing each and every time I play the game with my friends and my family and all the people I have met doing the same, in the real life or in this virtual environment.



I have nothing against the company, support team or any player in this game I am just sad about how could this have happened and the amount of inequality is in this system.


I hope you friends, the family, guild mates and all the people who understand and see the problem here can help me out on getting my main account back! We can form a petition or something similar because it just means a lot to me, imagine if the same happens to you, it's just sad and you feel stupid after thousands of hours of investing in an account it's so devastating and disappointing...

    @ZOS_Chiroptera Hi I have did that already few times and the system didn't respond to me for a long period of time and when the respond came it was always the same generated text reply that the ban is final and nothing can be done to reverse it.
    I don't understand it my account was never breaching any TOS until this breach which happened on my account years ago.
    What are my other options?

    @ZOS_Chiroptera somebody is making fun of me here because I pointed out that my account got hijacked and I submitted a ticket for account recovery because my account was hacked and or suspended.

    So basically if anyone breaches ESO account and uses third party software or whatever.... your accounts gets permanently destroyed because of that? How can we prove it that we are not the ones who did it? HOOOOW?!

    What is the extent of the scale ?! How can I know this can someone please explain how can someone hack your account and use it for such extent? I am the one who suffers...

    I didn't even got a chance to log into ESO back again, when I wanted to continue playing ESO after some time I couldn't log in as something was changed so I opened a ticket and found out it was perma banned.
    Also found out later on in my email that someone was accessing it from different location and the code was sent...so I got there suspicion as well and changed my email and since then I am doing this battle [snip]

    If you didn't before, gather up screenshots of the emails you describe which show you were hacked and maybe send them with a ticket. I really don't know though, they might not like you reopening it or opening a new one. I'm sure there are others too who feel for you, we just aren't in much of a position to help.

    I have tons of emails in my inbox about logging in from a different location even If I did that the customer support is ignorant to that evidence...they don't even believe in existence of VPNs and proxies in 2021...

    Bunch of streamers get helped right away because 100 people cry about them not in literal terms cry and they get unbanned for real reasons meanwhile we normal people have to suffer for injustice.

    I had an e-mail account hacked years ago, and that was annoying. Oddly they claimed to be vacationing alone, and to have "lost my credit cards" and since I never vacation without my beloved and don't use credit cards it was clearly BS.

    So I do have sympathy.
    Due to the extent and scale of the violation, it has been decided that the ban on this account will remain in place, and that all services related to this account shall remain deactivated permanently. This decision was not made lightly, and it is final.

    This is what I don't get. A person who has been playing FOR YEARS, suddenly has their account go crazy enough that it can be described as having a serious "extent and scale" .. and clearly being completely out of character for this account/player... is not being taken seriously?

    And how does this person get hold of the infamous ticket 190808-003970???

    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    My bank calls me if someone does something weird on my account. It's a big bank, with many many branches, and yet it has the capability to recognize when something is out of character for me and is alerted to a problem by it. Just sayin'.

    What is this supposing to do with ESO and Zenimax?

    You guys don't know of hackers? The people who by any means get into your account and destroy your items and steal gold just for fun and revenge?
    Never heard of that terms? This game doesn't even have two factor authenticator built into login system how great.

    What worries me is that the response is all about "the bad stuff that happened" and no acknowledgment of the various evidence that it was not the account holder i.e. the notifications of longin from different locations and such.

    I would like to think that worst case scenario if my account got hacked, I would be able to present evidence and it would be taken into account.

    Firstly, I am not questioning zenimax's diciplinary action here just want to make that 100% clear.

    I just want to understand something OP. I am hoping you can explain to clarify it for me.

    Someone stole your account. They then violated TOS and your stolen account was banned.

    So am I right to assume the thief that stole your account with all the gold, account bound achievements and mounts did so in order to then get your account banned? So they either just wanted the gold or they were jealous of your success ingame and wanted to destroy your account and your reputation as a successful player and guild master?

    Did the thief play on your account for a while or did they just do something to get your account banned straight away? Did your account thief do anything to your guild? Were you able to talk to your guild mates about what happened?
    I just have so many questions that pop into my mind. I have never heard of this happening to this extent.

    Many years ago i was playing a different online game and i logged in to find all my gold and gear gone,i felt so violated and upset. The game team investigated and proved it had been hacked and they reset my account and all my gear etc was restored. But my account thief had never tried to get my account banned and i had nothing special, no vet gear or anything like that.

    You dont have to reply but im just very curious about all this.
