Why don't they increase exp given through questing?

The fact that it is more efficient to mindlessly AoE grind mobs for hours on end in order to level faster is pretty stupid.

Obviously they want people to play through the game enjoying the storylines but they're literally shooting themselves in the foot by making AoE mob grinding indefinitely faster than questing.

Why not just increase the exp from quests? It's really frustrating for me because I want to enjoy the quests but I also strive to get to end game, pvp, etc. as fast as possible.

So I'm wanting to do the quests and experience the beautiful world but at the same time I want to give all that up and just hit mobs all day since it's faster.

I don't think this is a good thing....

why do you care? let grinders do what they want, they find their way fun and I can see why. But if you want to quest, quest! I have had a lot of fun questing, and if you stick to questing, I am sure you will have fun too.

if we get to much xp from questing, many quests will get lost in the game, I have completed 300 quests and currently lvl 47 if xp gain were bigger, I would had lost entire zones and already been a veteran.

You won't say that once you hit VR. It's f'n ridiculous how low the money and xp gain is considering that mobs are worth around 50 vp per kill.

Is that really that low? I am under the impression that it's closer to 200-240 vp per kill, barring wolves/mudcrabs which seem indeed to be ~50 vp per kill.

Considering the amount of vp needed, it's definitely low and the quests don't really grant that much either. A couple of minor sidequests aside, it seems you'd need to do every quest in a veteran zone.

PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!. Outfit slots not being accountwide is ridiculous given their price. PC EU/PC NA roleplayer and solo PvE quester

It's low around 50 VP or so a kill for normal mobs out in the wilderness. By the time my bags are full of junk my repair bill is around 1500g. Most stuff that you sell to vendors is worth 35g a piece or so.

PvP endgame starts at level 10, Veteran ranks is in fact 1-50 content for other two factions and Craglorn is not released yet. What endgame are you talking about then?

PvP End game does not start at lvl 10. By my understanding if you are lvl 10 in Cyrodiil you stand absolutely no chance vs anyone VR1+.

Also, if you did get to 50 before finishing all the quests, they can simply give you a bonus to VR exp while you are still finishing up the normal quests.

Idk, to me it just seems silly that ESO is a game where they pride themselves on lore and quest content, but right now there are TONS of people (even new players) who are skipping literally every quest except the main storyline.

Does that sound like it should be the case? I doubt it
