( reduces the damage you take from enemy spells )

This may help you out a bit, quite detailed description of what Mundus Stones are, and what effects(buffs) they offer to players:

    Thanks. Merci.
I look at the link you gave and the writer says : "I know for myself I have a Mundus Stone I prefer for group dungeons and a second stone I use when heading to Cyrodiil". So normally, I should have in my inventory a stone which I can enchant my armor with ?

    Hi Demendred. Merci beaucoup.
But unfortunately the translator makes it very difficult to understand. My English should allow me to follow explanations. Could you please be kind enough to send me the original (English) message.
You are right, there is a French forum, but last time I check, it was quite empty.
    Thanks,
    Bruno

I think what he meant by choosing which stone is that he clicked on the one he wanted to use. Its a status effect you gain from the Mundus stone.

You can have 1 active Mundus Stone effect at time, they have no cool down, nothing, so you can switch them when you want. Going to do instance as tank? Use +armor buff. After that going to Cyrodiil as healer? Np, use +healing stone etc etc. There is no limit or restrictions on how often you can do it. All you need is to find/know locations of stones.
