Good morning folks,
I picked up ESO about a year ago I honestly don't recall how long ago it actually was but dropped it when real life events took hold and I couldnt game for a time.
I believe I have a max level character into it's next phase, I forget its name but basically at end level and since then there have been 4 updates I think? Last time I played I was doing that new skill from Greymoor where I was locating treasures or things with this mini puzzle.
Long story short, I have no idea how to pick up where I left off. I remember being drowned in quests, a woman kept running after me in a town claiming she's been searching for me everywhere and she will not stop. Is there any sort of guideline on how to get back into the fray? I'm down for a long list of stuff to do but I just haven't got a clue where to begin. I've even forgotten my abilities I was using... hahaha...

Read this one. Pretty good, and I'm following it on my character. I did step out of line, to get one companion, since I play SOLO 99% of the time.
Otherwise, this IMO is the way to go.1
