Maw of the Infernal spawns minion between tank and boss, blocking vision to the boss' interaction

This set is spawns a Daedroth, that is pretty oversized. It spawns INFRONT of the Boss, meaning it is placed between tank and boss, so the tank does not see what the boss is doing.

Sollutions:

1) Spawns this Daedroth at the source, or at a line of target and source, at target.
2) The Daedroth spawns BEHIND the boss
3) Make the Daedroth tiny, so the Daedroth has the size half of a characters size

There are many things that force the tank to react to the action of the monster, but this requires to see the monster. If you don't block at the right time, you will die some onehit mechanics.

    Spawning at the source, no.. half size, no.. behind the boss could maybe work, but that would also put him in LoS blocking position of other people.. either way, I'd say that tab target could probably solve it for you.. Personally, I don't really see them as an issue

    It's been that way for the longest time. It should literally not appear for anyone but the caster, because it offers no group utility/synergy. There's no reason for other people to see it.

    I think you would probably see the issue if you tanked. With your vision blocked, you can’t see the boss to see the telegraphs of what is coming next. On PC, we can somewhat get around this because we have addons that can tell us what is coming next, but it still sucks to not see it. It’s like flying an airplane on only instruments. Sure, it’s possible, but it’s a lot more fun to also be able to actually see where you are going. Blocking and reacting to telegraphed attacks/mechanics are kind of the most essential thing for a tank. And you can’t sit there and just block the whole time. You will run out of resources.

    The Solomon's judgment would be: "if the tank no longer can see the boss, everybody can no longer see the boss".
    Boss damage out of nowhere...

    Had to snicker a little at this thread as this has been the tank's bane for at least a year or more, when the Maw became the monster set of choice for magicka players. One trials guild I am still jokes with the tanks that one day everyone will run a petsorc with the Maw and use the storm atro ulti.

    I'm running a trial just like that this Friday - bring your pets to work. Everyone has a non combat pet plus can wear sets that spawn 'helpers' like Jeff the Daedroth and Chardonnay the Selenes Bear. Flappies, scamps, clannfear and fat bottomed bears also welcome (I'll be wearing Aegis Caller and Selenes so I also get to bring Elvis along)

    There's a button. Highlight target. You press it, and you see your target aura through everything.
    The only thing I wish for is same button to highlight myself.

    I tank, I heal, I do damage.. I still don't see the problem
