Selling crafted items changes?

I've been away for a while, and I'm kind of checking in re: status of the whole "selling stuff you make" thing. If I recall correctly, there is no world marketplace, and you can only sell to a guild you belong to (?)
But if you don't play frequently, there's a chance you'll get booted from your guild. Has any of this changed? I like harvesting and crafting, but it seems like it was complicated to actually sell things.

You can only sell *through* a guild you belong to. Your guild (store) can sell to anyone who cares to browse the store.
And since you can have up to 5 guilds, you can sell in multiple stores, provided your guilds have a store (which has become highly competitive and above all expensive).

✭✭You can also sell 'privately' i.e area chat, but I prefer selling via the guild myself
