I'm getting the same problem. Not sure what's going on, but it's making the game unplayable.

I've already gone through all the usual routes for seeing if anything is wrong. Everything is fine/the same as it's always been on my end. I only encounter this issue during large events.

Edit:
After further testing, it's only happening in Elsweyr zones for me. This includes Sunspire and Tideholm. It does not matter if addons are enabled or not. I disconnect (mainly the 'valid internet connection' message) whenever porting into any Elsweyr zone. I spent around half an hour trapped in Predator Mesa because of this earlier.

Does it happen on more then one character?

Do you get any specific error when booted from ESO?

I tested Jode's Embrace today and managed to get in. It seems the disconnect problem has been resolved
