Ancestral Breton Motif

So beyond just being a "when will this be a thing" thread this is also kind of a "process of elimination"/"what we know" type of deal.

This motif was datamined a while back, as well as a picture of a style material (which I can only assume will be "Etched Molybdenum" given that it's the molybdenum stone with a Breton icon carved into it), and this hearkens all the way back to the Greymoor era, alongside Ancestral Akaaviri, Nighthollow, Wayward Guardian, Ancestral Reach, and Arkthzand Armory.
Furthermore, of those motifs, we have 92 (Ancestral Akaviri), 94 (Ancestral Reach), 95 (Nighthollow), 96 (Arkthzand Armory), and 97 (Wayward Guardian). Given the absence of a Motif 93, as well as its numeric position between two other Ancestral motifs, it would only make sense that Ancestral Breton is our missing #93. Thus, it's not likely to be a style page or such.

As for obtainability, here is where we hit a snag. Since thus far all ancestral motifs have been antiquity leads that drop from treasure maps, it would only make sense for that trend to continue. Granted, that may not mean a thing. the base game zones are already taken with Ancestral Nord/Orc/High Elf, Greymoor's already taken with Ancestral Reach, and now Blackwood with Ancestral Akaviri, and putting Breton in a place like Vvardenfell, Summerset, or Elsweyr seems unlikely. Craglorn could maybe be one, or Coldharbour due to the motif's association with the Ravenwatch Vampires. Maybe Orsinium for the irony that Ancestral Orc is found predominantly in High Rock and Ancestral Breton is found in Wrothgar, but I dunno.

TLDR—we ever gonna actually get this motif, ZOS? there's a hole in my motif-dex and it's starting to annoy my OCD.
Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. When later asked about the experience, she seemed upset. Suffice to say, the Dunmer were not pleased to hear this, and thus they inquired further.
"Well," the Nord frowned, "the priests were very angry and unwelcoming. They kept shouting things at me like "you can't drink that mead in here!" and "somebody stop her, she's running naked!" and "we can't catch her; she's covered in grease!""

I really like the Ancestral Breton, I think it's the one Verandis wears in the Markarth chapter. It looks fantastic. And I agree that I am a little bit sad we can't get it yet as I need it to add to my ancestral collection.

Yes we will, it's just a matter of time. It will just be added to game later on to revive some content/zone.
As it has been happening before with other style motifs.

Yup. Just remains to be seen if we get Ancestral Breton or Ancestral Imperial first or at the same time. One of the two is guaranteed for The Deadlands Zone later this year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Imperial was added as possible drops from Cyrodiil treasure maps.

they should add Ancient Akaviri in Cyrodiil treasure maps, it would be as logical as possible, but they didn't. I have no idea what motif they could add to the dead lands, I suppose it will be the same as with ancient reach, one motif for 2 zones (i mean it was A.Akaviri, yep). So maybe we can see A.Breton somewhere in Hammerfell (because nowhere else), and A.Imperial possibly in Bravil or part of Cyrodiil with Skingrad. But it will definitely be new DLC/Chapters zones.

There are no antiquities in cyrodiil to prevent clog up of people farming those in a pvp zone. why all leads found in cyrodiil lead outside of it.

If they're planning on implementing it the same way they implemented the last two Ancestral motifs, they can keep it. The first motifs I've decided not even to bother with because the method of acquisition is an outright abomination.

    This.

Also, there's Ancestral Imperial and Ancestral Daedric Motifs in the game data as well. Here's hoping they're waiting to implement more Ancestral Motifs until they figure out a method to obtain them that isn't complete garbage.

I'd love to see Ancestral Breton. I still think Breton was the best of the original motifs and the "Ancestral" tag was/is a clever way of updating the design without removing or changing the original.

I have to agree with others here though - I'd really appreciate it if ZoS could reduce the amount of tedious grind that we players have to go through to get anything new. I know there's a balance to be had between "I want it now" and "you have to earn it", but some recent stuff has been crazy.

Aside from any other consideration, it would be nice to acknowledge that not everyone can put dozens of hours every week into a game.

The most evil thing of all is that Bastian already wears it! Besides his hair still being unavailable (ZOS snatch his wig please), his default appearance in all armour weights, looks like Ancestral Breton.

Which is of course, because Bastian is a Breton, and not an Imperial like his racials claim. Unless his mother was an Imperial (as race is mostly determined by the mother, in TES), but that would be odd as it's never mentioned.

But yes, I'd love to see Ancestral Breton, along with more Breton everything. I think it will likely be obtained from antiquities like the rest, since those Ridiculously hard to find Ancestral Reach and Ancestral Akaviri motifs are remakes of the old rare purple motifs, and not the basic racial styles. They are a dime a dozen now, but when ESO started they were quite a bit more rare, with the Daedric one being sold for an ungodly amount of gold on traders.

Hmmmm .... No one's. Ancestral Daedra motif first.

He is not breton. He grew up in the family of Breton nobles Silvels. But his trues family name Gallix and it not sounds like somthing breton. It looks Imperial last name. So his father was imperial noble on a breton king Emeric service
