Weapon Enchant Visual Rework

I was playing New World and socketed a gem into my weapon and that red gem gave my weapon a beautiful fiery effect that flowed up the blade and followed the attacks of my rapier. Honestly, if ESO made it to where you first drew your weapon, that those visuals never stopped, I'd be happy if it was like that all the time. I know I fell in love with those visuals in beta but was disappointed when they disappeared. How would you feel if weapon enchants got a visual revamp?

I'm the opposite...I wish there was a way to hide enchantment glows/effects so my weapon doesn't pulse while equipped. I really dislike such effects in any game and will purposefully avoid enchanting weapons in single player games like skyrim

I'd like a way to have VFX on or off for both enchantments and monster arms packs, some things look way better without one and some are in need of some external coverage.

Of the current visuals how they just pulse, I do agree, I would want them to be off.

    maybe?

would definitely NOT want this in pvp for obvious reasons.... it would need to be deactivated in Cyro, IC or BGs imho

in pve it might be an issue for trials if you could not turn off their effects.... like in vSS for example; god forbid you should have a ton of templars in your group to boot, it would not be pretty..... :#:D

I lean towards hiding as well. I wish I could hide the effect of major brutality on my swords, as I use the curved crescent swords from Elsweyr and the effect does not follow them (it still appears in a straight line) and it looks stupid.

Back in DAoC days, it was a must to have glowie weapons. Glowie was the term we used and I loved them lol
