Very true.
Yet given the abject failure to balance some parts of the game from a gearing and stat standpoint.... can you image the endless whinging from some segments if the potion creativity of Oblivion were available?
They would have to revamp not only the alchemy system, but CPs and gear as well to adjust for the possibilities that adding on such potions to a build could create.
Not likely they will do this any time soon.
Though I wish they would.
