I like PVE & PVP, but the preference is with PVP.. it's just more engaging for me.
At this late stage of ESO... ZOS are not going to seperate the two modes.

When I started ESO I tried to play it as a normal ES game. Found it didn't work well as all of the overland stuff is the usual MMO kind of things I don't care for. I found my way into tanking for dungeons and enjoyed that for years. Eventually I wanted something new and exciting that allowed me more creative freedom in how I built and played my characters. After a friend showed me a video of Fengrush fighting loads of werewolves I was hooked on the idea of PvP. I've never looked back since.

@GodKingScormxon The trick to enjoying PvP is to find the aspect that you love about it. There are many things that you could consider: Do you like teamwork and comradery? Find some likeminded people that want to team up and try to get better at it. Like theory crafting? There are far FAR more useful sets, skills, and approaches to PvP than you'll ever find in the rest of the game. Like new encounters without the pre-determined, fine-tuned, mechanics that you've memorized and mastered? There is always some new and unexpected challenge around every corner in IC, and Cyrodiil. You just have to be prepared to loose a lot. Even the best players are defeated eventually. It's part of the game. Just find the part that gives you fun and follow that.

I'd love pvp if I had spell absorption enchantments or even a physical or elemental absorption type enchantments I know those last 2 never existed before if there were spell absorption enchantments they need something else to balance them and they'd have to be jewelry enchantments.

Along with 8 core attributes and high character levels with a cross class system but no one likes my ideas so I don't know why I even mention them. Lol

I hadn't tried PvP until battlefields were part of endeavors. Since then, I've participated in a few games (still haven't been to Cyrodiil). I wouldn't say I hate it, but I prefer PvE by a long shot. I think I'd probably enjoy PvP a bit more if the lag wasn't so bad. There's nothing fun about trying to fire a skill and nothing happens...and nothing happens...and nothing happens. It just feels clunky to me. Also, I don't find it as satisfying as doing quests, exploring, fishing, and just hanging out in Tamriel. That will never change.

It might not seem like it to newer players but ESO was designed from the ground up as a PvP game. The tools you need to survive and sustain are present and if you want to build an immortal god tank it is entirely doable even in today's high-damage patch (though much harder than it has been in recent times).

As well, there are skills and sets that provide exactly what you describe here.

For me is a pvp game... The rest are just tedious required things you have to do to play pvp. Like the psjic order skill line, scrying, Mage guild, farming boring dungeons to just select an equipment. PvP part should be like in Pts... Choose equipment and fight. Especially if everything is changed every 6 months

Cyro was great years ago... Now is completely unplayable no matter the day or the hour... Even when u feels works great, it kick u out, or make imposible to drink a pot or ultimate in the exact time.

Bgs and IC is the only pvp playable content nowadays but full of people that dont to fight other players lol

its the way to play imo.

I enjoy it I would like it more if cyrodil was smaller. It’s too big which results in a lot of horse riding simulator.

PC EU Grey Host Alliance Pop Locked (for the example)

    - All campaigns have lower populations these days and it shows
    - Previously active areas for combat are now - EMPTY and DEAD
    - You can wait for up to 45 minutes before people will show up in certain areas
    - Everyone bunches up this patch to take, defend and attack
    - Everyone can damage this patch and can get killed easily, hence bunching up
    - Siege is overpowered
    - DLC classes are still over performing in stamina setups (forum subjects/experience)
    - Lag is very present even during the day time if the population cap has been reached
    - Skills don't fire, Psijic ulti still bugs and locks you into the ground and other ultimates take too long to cast

Gameplay is at it's all time low from my 7 year experience in game. It's lazy patch with little thought put into it, well at least that is the impression I am getting and also my team mates.

We play, we get frustrated by bugs, lag and zergs. That's the resumé.

Just watch the lesser known streamers who play Cyro and listen to them freak out about performance and not being able to play.

My love for pvp started when I decided to go for Grand Overlord. It's a long journey and when the lag isn't too terrible pvp is very enjoyable. Something needs to be done about the way zos has abandoned the game for pvp. It's just unbearable to never get a light attack off.

PvP in general just isn't my cup of tea. Ranked on Bartle's Taxonomy, I'm more Explorer, then Achiever, then Social, with Killer being dead last.

PvP in Imperial City is fun despite my repeated death.

The whole map is not good though. Too much riding and even inside Imperial City it's confusing unlike normal zones. I'd prefer to have new zones like Stros M'Kai or Summerest being marked PvP + PvE area, where fights can happen in inns or locked NPC homes, and players would need to defend or capture a small town; also allow players from any side to easily enter or leave via wayshrines and border roads.
