Would like to see a penetration potion

Leave a comment it's the only way zos will hear you. I would like to see zos add a penetration potion to our alchemy list. We have a potion for everything except hair growth and penetration. With the tank builds in PvP and the new tank meta coming, I think it would be a viable addition. Yes I know we have the reduce armor poison but it's opposite as a potion would be nice just like you can get both, extra magic resistance and physical resistance through a single potion you should be able to get penetration through a potion

Yep, for all the lamenting of Heavy Armor in PvP - "tanks should be tanks", nobody likes to talk about how everybody is drinking "Tank" potions. There aren't enough "offensive" alternatives to the defensive potions. Maybe even Berserk potions, or something.

Sounds like blue pills in liquid form.
Hmm, I don't need it atm but the day will come.

Where do I sign the petition?

Alchemy in general needs a huge shake-up.

It contains what might be the least useful passive in the entire game (Snakeblood) and the combinations are far too restrictive and formulaic (especially if you play Magicka).

The devs need to go back to Skyrim and Oblivion in order to understand that coming up with unorthodox-yet-powerful combinations was why those systems were so much fun to interact with.

    Very true.

Yet given the abject failure to balance some parts of the game from a gearing and stat standpoint.... can you image the endless whinging from some segments if the potion creativity of Oblivion were available? :#

They would have to revamp not only the alchemy system, but CPs and gear as well to adjust for the possibilities that adding on such potions to a build could create.

Not likely they will do this any time soon.

    Though I wish they would.

I’d be happy if they just added more ingredients to allow a couple new potion combinations with each major update. The occasional new effect would be nice too. Dragon ingredients were a great example of this, allowing Minor Heroism potions, and Summerset had some interesting ones as well (just too rare).

I didn’t find any of the ingredients from Greymoor to be useful. And AFAIK Blackwood did not add anything new.

A way to make Restore Magicka + Minor Heroism + Spell Crit would be appreciated. Not all builds have space for Inner Light.

With armour passive changes, a potion that gives yet more pen is kinda dangerous, as stacking penetration may become too easy... So I guess not.
