OK This my try to get ZOS theyr attention review pvp.ive seen nick konkel in several interviews saying pvp is well balanced as an lowbie noob its possible to get an 50 down when you got 2 others with you.well this is just a lie.in pvp i whas full health lvl23 templar i got charged by an sword and shield player with shield charge and went from 100% to 0% in 1 go.a 50 vampire took out 10 to 15 ppl out if not more by spamming batswarm and just running thru my group.he toke no dmg all he did whas spam batswarm.its a joke and really need nerfing.the boost you get is laughable really, good to have resources bolstered but armour and weapons are still not scalled to adjust to it lvl50 players.i thought ZOS theyr intention whas to make the game skill based yet it isnt, its simply be lvl50 first then have a go on pvp,you might aswell remove the lvl10 que for pvp at this moment and up it to 50 either that or take note from SWTORS bolsterbuff system.granted it toke them quite a while to get it right but i hope that ZOS is working on such a system as atm the inbalance of the pvp is no fun for players at all

In a small skirmith or 1v1, a veteran is always going to have the advantage.

In group/large scale PvP, I felt very much like I was contributing, even as a lowly level 10. I even got some kills, and I have almost no experience with PvP in any game. I've never been interested in PvP, but find ESO's war system to be pretty satisfying.

So will you be the star of the battlefield without leveling? Probably not. But you can have a lot of fun as a footsoldier amongst the ranks.

Don't speak for all of us.

    I'm enjoying it.

Currently levelling an alt purely in PvP (the XP there really needs a boost ... it's terrible).... and i'm having no problems as long as I don't try and face tank whole groups.

Only complaining I see in zone chat in Cyrodiil is about sorc teleport and mist form needing a cooldown put on.

I have to agree, sick of getting into a fight with a sorc/vamp and then them running off.

Pvp is always unbalanced. Level up. With only four classes, you are sure to be the fotm at least 25% of the time after a re-spec when ZOS eventually gets around to swinging their nerf bat.

I have not played PVP much.
At level 15 I decided to give PVP a try, found a good group that was organised & had a blast. Took over four forts in a row before all the Daggers held ground to defend their elder scroll. I learned allot from just playing with them.
Around 35 I went in again & found another big & organised group, again I had a blast & we managed to capture an elder scroll & take over a fort before spending the rest of the time defending.
I'm vet 1 right now & I honestly have not noticed any difference in how powerful I am vs other players. About the only thing that has changed is I have more abilities as my disposal now.
Pretty much the only thing that kills me & has ever really killed me is being outnumbered & being ambushed. This is not me bragging as I'm not great at competitive games, never have been.

If they literally make no balance changes for pvp ever, I will be happy and continue to pay.

Read the lusty argonian maid. *wink wink*

And to the OP, please do some work on your grammar. The pvp is of course unbalanced right now, theres already many threads on the Alliance War Tactics that speak about those issues.

    This is why pvp sucks.

Also animation clipping makes it hard to combat player skills when you don't get to see what they do.

PvP doesn't suck, the vampires do. They're too powerful and need to be nerfed urgently.

And what sucks, too are the ppl meaning to have the right to zerg every enemy down they see even if that one is in a fight with another player. "Oh look, a DC - don't care about our mate killing him easily, we'll *** on his parade anyway".
    If I've ever offended you,
just know that from the bottom of my heart,
    I really don't give a ***.

I'm not a veteran and therefore I avoid direct confrontation with vets, unless the odds are in my favour.

And that is how it should be.

    I am working towards veteran.

When MMOs stop being about progression i.e. rewards v effort and just become about reward v turning up then this is when they become boring.

To the OP, yes it can be frustrating. Learn from your experiences, observe the vets, read the forums and use this opportunity to plan your vet build and learn your class. But dude dont whine on the forums lol.

Luke Skywalker didnt make it as a Jedi by whining.
At least the spelling is difficult for you.

There's a difference between whining and stating something. He wanted to get zos's attention, not really yours. Also luke was a fictional character, if he was real he would probably complained a lot.

I am okay with the idea, that a Veteran player should be stronger, i am now vet 3 but I said the exact same thing with lvl 27, just imagine what he did, how many fights he had won to come this far, it is only normal, that someone whose quests are like "rescue a cat" will get killed by "addsomesuperherooractionhero"

I enjoy pvp, but atm there is no such thing, because the people on my campaign are waiting for a vampire nerf, because they don't think people can learn how to beat these vampires...
Maybe a good thing, if they have nothing to fight against, they will get borred and leave Cyrodill, or troll another campaign...
Warden Main apparently... 7 Wardens currently, otherwise a healer of every class.
Mostly active in No CP PVP on EU, blaming the buffbot meta in pve.
I want to feel like I am saving somebodies life, not like I am carrying amunition for them...

when we where taking a keep yesterday a vet vampire ran into our group and used devouring swarm.not once but 3times in a row and taking down a group of 10 to 15 players with that single ultimate,i stayed clear of it and once the animations whas done i went on him and he just activated again and instakilled me.my guild mate who whas with me all so a templar vet1 but he is a tank(spec on heavy armour heavy on health and spellressist)he got instakilled aswell by the swarm.now when i use my morphed radialsweep (my ultimate) i do high area dmg,but....it certainly doesnt take down players from full to no health, devouring swarm does tho and apparently you can spam it.And yes a 50 should be stronger then a lower lvl but a lower lvl should all so be able to do more dmg on a vet player but currently they dont as like i said resources are bolstered, armour and dmg output is not, wich basicly incase of an 1v1 would take me 4times as long doing dmg to a 50vet as he would do it to me,there is no balance in that.bolt escape spammers vampire mist forms are currently all so very annoying,i agree but devouring swarm is just a joke and its being exploited.ive looked at the ww tree and i think they should be very op in theyr ultimate form it takes long to build up and once in the form you really need to stay focused in maintaining that form so its in good balance

Oh its another veteran are stronger than rookies thread...
Whats the point of leveling in the first place?
    Yup, getting stronger.

Also if vampires are OP you cant blame it on veterans, as not every vet is a vamp.

I do find it kind of funny when 2-3 players will flat out turn tail and run from a lonely VR3 sorc. I'm all standing here wondering where the party went to after they moved out faster than my bolt escape will take me. I think they're stealing all mah beer!!!
  • pysgod1978b14_ESO
Eh? Use the Fighter's Guild skills against vamps and werewolves. Slap them with silver bolt and other goodies and they drop like rocks.

who says im blaming any player?i dont even blame the developers even tho after such a long research they did on pts and still failed on balanced pvp for now.i love pvp and played it in so many games.ive reach end tiers in pvp in multible ones and yes im very competive but all so a teamplayer.my believe is the best pvp is a balanced pvp that isnt gear or lvl based but team objevtive based

uhm batswarm morphs are either makes vampire invisible for its duration or heals the target for a % of dmg done to each target.either way they are as good as immortal for the amount of time.ppl actually shot silverbolts at the target with zero effect

I like the fact that my lvl 10 can get swamped by V's if Im not careful. Its fun to sneak pass PK's and have them run right past you w/o ever seeing you.
