Why is my Companion walking like she is wounded?

I was questing in Bleakrock Isle trying to level up a character, and I happened to notice that Mirri Elendis was standing and walking using the 'wounded' animation set; the one where the character holds their arm and limps when they walk.
What's with that? She's at full health and is fully armoured. Is there some hidden condition that my character is meeting that triggers this?
