Why is warden and necro spammables so slow compared to force shock?

I think they must speed them up to be the same/reduce the travel time.

These abilities feel clunky to use especially in pvp even with no lag.

    It's almost trolling at this point to see Necromancer changes with no fix to Magicka Blastbones.

    I was excited for a Skulls buff but this isn't it. As you say, the travel speed needs to be greatly accelerated and the secondary effect could also use an improvement. With the recent enormous nerf to the Death Knell passive there is even less reason than before to slot Skulls on your bar.

    I find wardens birds to be fine. They hit quite a bit harder than the skulls and aren’t nearly as clunky.

    The biggest difference in how skulls feels versus force pulse is the for skulls to fire you need to looking at your target or make sure to have it tab targeted. Look at the ground to cast something and try to cast skulls after and it will be greyed out. Same thing with BB which is 100x more clunky and fiesta in certain situations.

    Anyhow FP when slightly off target will kind of correct itself and find the target and let you cast the skill with ease. FP also comes with better cleave damage so it’s preferred in many situations to skulls as well. Warden on the other hand is lost without birds and that has to do with their passives.

    Skulls could use a rework for sure but I put it behind BB in terms of priority. Nobody likes the way this skill feels, but we all just deal with it.

    Dive seems to have a problem due to it's projectile spawn location and/or due to a minimum travel time for the projectile since it spawns behind you and even when on top of an enemy it still takes time to get there.

    Skulls has a minimum traveltime time of 300 ms (350 on the third cast)
    Birds have a 1.1 seconds travel time.
    Force pulse is ~250ms
    Ranged Light attacks have a sub 200ms minimum traveltime.

    Anything above 250ms minimum traveltime feels horrible as it makes you incredibly vulnerable to dodge roll, this ofc gets worse with more distance.
    One spammable you've missed is strife with a 450ms minimum traveltime.

    yeah this is pretty helpful. it does explain why dive and skulls still just feel awful.

    Yeah another ability that feels painful to cast.
