Can anyone tell me what addon adds those green stars, and how to get rid of them

    I don't know the specific addon, but my best guess is that it's marking items with traits you haven't researched yet.

    Do you have an addon that tracks that?

    Quite sure it's TraitBuddy. If I'm right you can set all "ticks" OFF under Settings -> Addons -> TraitBuddy -> Inventory Icon or by Character down below under Character Management

    The advantage of addons (like CraftStore) is that it can track things a different character needs to research.
