Creating character that doesn't use class skills?

Someone in game told me they want a Stamina character without unrealistic magic abilitys, and it got me thinking. Could it work? could a realistic character work?
Has anyone tried to create one?

The question is:

What's the best class for buffing (passives) your character without using any class skills?
Are there any class skills that don't look unrealistic?

some useful skills that could work Endless hail, Caltrops, Poison injection, Rending slashes ,Shrouded dagger/Rapid strikes ,Whirling blades, Deadly cloak.
I have no idea about what other skills.
Ultimate... only Rend from dual wield seems to work.

What rotation would you guys do, and do you think a no class skill character could be fun on pve?

...isn't Endless Hail kind of "unrealistic"? Fire one arrow up into the air, dozens fall?

Yes, it's not a Class ability, but... :D

In terms of class choice, I would look at werewolf build guides and see what they recommend. Werewolves also don't really use class abilities, so those guides tend to give a decent overview of the passives that would be relevant to your concept.

Yes it can be done and can produce good dps numbers. Stam blade with vateshran daggers and maelstrom bow for example using dual wield and bow skills plus some passive bar buffs like camo hunter. You can do this with minimal or even no class skills. It has a cost but your character can still be viable.

What do you mean by realistic though? Some stam / weapon skills are not very realistic (endless hail producing a rain of arrows, giant size caltrops, vigor heals making you look like a sun burst).

It’ll be easier to accept that the game is pretty high magic with flashy animations and unrealistic skills. But you can minimize this if that is what is fun for you.

Yes, many of my characters are like that, as I absolutely hate the flashy class skill animations. It depends on what you want to do with the character...
I don't have interest in group content and I don't PvP, so I don't care how well my characters perform. I only do overland content, including delves and public dungeons and I don't run into any serious issues there.

I prefer Warden or Nightblade as a base, but I've done it with other classes as well. When using Warden I generally use the bear as ultimate, since I can handwave that as a normal bear instead of a magical summoning.
