So the vc and survey bugs were not fixed?

Just read the patch notes for PS4/5 and didn’t see anything about fixing the voice chat. Constantly being put in group chats with 90+ people isn’t fun. Especially in BG’s. Also saw there was a survey node location adjustments for Blackwood surveys but nothing on the survey eating bug in Western Skyrim. Say you have 3 surveys for one location, instead of using 1 survey when gathering, the game eats all 3.

Both of these bugs should have had priority over relocating nodes. The VC bug even more so.

So now my question is, when can we see a fix for these?

Voice chat isn’t essential (create private PSN parties and that PC doesn’t have them) and is probably a lot more complicated than it seems. ZOS is probably dealing with clashes between PS4 and PS5 caused by the operating system differences. That much is evident from getting notifications on the PS5 dashboard every time that someone wants to group with you, something that doesn’t happen on a PS4.

Figuring that out decidedly takes less priority than the easily replicable errors that cause gray screens which are far more severe and need to be addressed. From the patch notes they’re still working on that even after some improvements.

Adjusting node locations is probably a very very easy fix comparatively and something done for all platforms uniformly making it easy to address.

Actually, it’s intermittently happening on PS4 as well with group invites turning into actual PS4 notification invites.

Any time someone invites you to group, or you're a part of a queue of any sort, it sends you a PSN notification on PS4.

Nope. Voice chat still auto logs in. Really stupid. I thought it was being fixed this patch.

Also the in game friends list is still blank for me even though I have tried all suggested fixes.
So can't travel to player or invite to group from the friends list.

Priority are the blue screens by far. Voice chat isn’t necessary in the grand scheme of things (you can make a PSN party as a workaround).

Yes it’s annoying but frankly I want to make sure my new PS5 doesn’t get bricked.

I'd say survey nodes being spread so far from each other that when players find one node and then accidentally move so far out of the circle of the survey they're on in their confused search for the next node that the game counts the survey as having been used up, is at least as big of a problem as surveys in stacks being consumed as if they were one.

Didn't know about the surveys glitch in Skyrim, ty for the heads up.

Generally the voice chat thing has been annoying but I'm kinda enjoying sharing some of my eccentric musical taste with an involuntary audience while I'm doing my writs etc.

But the cross alliance voice chat in Cyrodiil is creepy as hell.

Wait till you hear people breathing so heavy on the mic you’d think they were trying to eat it or what sounds like a bunch of pigs eating slop but it’s just the person breathing. It’s gross. One time, I spawned into Summerset and a girl was singing on her mic. It was so bad I no longer wanted to be in Summerset. Closed the vc channel and left the zone.

It was "fixed" by ZOS: we still automatically join the zone chat but now with the talk disabled, as intended...
