GCD exploit + enemy/server command execution without target getting notified about it at all

Basically:
- traceroute to game server 31ms, ingame latency indicator 75ms
- my HP 25k, my resistances 31k spell, 27k physical
- ongoing ticking resolving vigor and rally
- standing fully buffed on a bar with potentates one-hand and shield
- calm area near sej without any ongoing battle.
- enemy attacker: sorcerer

- instant death in fraction of 1 second
- no ability sound or any other sound
- no enemy revealed
- scrolling combat text showed 1 tick of 14k damage. (far from 25k HP)
- death recap showed 2x8k damage. (far from 25k HP)

Somebody executes some rapid automated combo with invisible potion at the end and server just instantly kills you and tells you nothing about that???
Most skilled gankblades can't kill so rapidly, but a SORCERER insta-killing people without any sound or revealing himself from stealth? I was standing fully buffed on shield bar because he already killed few players around the same way, people just fell dead with no sound or revealed enemy.

Whole execution and registration of commands on "player 1 / server / player 2" level is obviously wrong when this is possible even in a low lag area and situation.
What's the point of PvP like this when server just decides to instantly kill you and ignore any input from your side?

It's literally possible to overwhelm server for certain target, that the target doesn't have ticking heals, doesn't have ticking resource regeneration, doesn't have blocks registered and stays stun/immobilize locked. Server just stops registering anything on target side, because it's overwhelmed by commands from attacker side.

I play ESO since 2016 and this is bitter reality and state of current PvP.

    this game is jacked. when I run my tank with 50k hp, I get desynched and crushed in a second. if you know how to exploit the holes in this game, its pretty easy to gank.

    Amottica? Literally second point says that I have 25k.
    I received 14k according SCT and 17k according death recap, but died with full 25k HP.
    That's the point of the whole report.

    It's always present issue of this game. Execution/registration/queue system of ESO servers is faulty, it's wrong.
    Servers are executing commands on players without even letting them know or in bunches instead of single consecutive commands.

    When an attacker overwhelms server by too many commands, your heals and resource regen ticks reported by server literally gets in queue behind attackers commands and you get insta-killed without any chance to do anything.

    Servers don't queue command in the order they should be, but instead one side gets sometimes totally ignored and postponed, therefore dead.

    This is basically what happens almost permanently. Commands of one side just get postponed no matter the real time of their delivery to server. Server just decides to execute one player first and second players sometimes not at all.

    How do we know how much time elapsed? I have heard the server can lag making it look like a series of attacks happened all at once.

    After posting this reply I see the post above it has a graphic essentially showing the dame thought.

    It's not really a server issue.

    The sorc hit you with overload and two light attack buffing skills. The light attack buffing skills can be cast prior to firing the light attack.

    So when you get hit with the light attack, you are actually getting hit with Overload (An Ultimate), and two spammable skills. So at minimum 3 sources of damage in one connecting hit.

    The server may have problems registering all of this for the death recap. But the server isn't the reason this combo is killing you.

    If a player hits you with 3 skills that all land at the same time due to the way the skills work, your healing ticks are literally irrelevant. You could be healing for 100K health per second, but since you are dying immediately, it doesn't matter.

    There's no queue to consider here. The two skills in your recap augment light attacks and land at the exact same time as a light attack. Overload ultimate works as a light attack. Making all three skills land in the same instance.

    The only bug here is that the death recap doesn't show the light attack (which btw did a bit over 10k damage).

    You could call it bad skill design, but the server performance is not an issue in this situation and the skills are working as their description says. They delay their damage untill the light attack hits.

    Explain no sound of abilities, no enemy revealed from stealth, just insta-death with false recap. It's obviously not okay. And bad server queue of abilities in Cyro is obvious things. Only way you don't notice is that you don't play EU Cyro.

    You don't need to explain me waving and combos and canceling and synergy of abilities. I play this game 5 years, mostly PvP.

    It happens only with this ability and people exploit it because it does not reveal the ganker before it is too late to react.

    Yeah and guy uses in his combo invisibility potion at the end what makes him not even come out of stealth. One instant execution, that the game doesn't even play combat music for you or any ability sound.

    Any combos of any class coming out of stealth are absolute flaw in this game.
    But I want to also point out normal combat situations.
    There are experts with Perfect wave addon, Autohotkey macro executor, they just smash one button and they weave you down so rapidly that the server doesn't even consider your mitigations or ongoing ticking heals.

    There are situations when you survive heavy nuke, come out without any DoT ticking on you, but you have for example 2 HoTs ticking on you and you watch your health bar and it's not moving any direction. And not like the HoTs get executed later, they just aren't affecting your health bar at all. You don't even get delayed by server, but literally skipped.

    This is Cyrodiil PvP and it isn't getting better over the years. They improved visual performance, let's say it visually lags less. But ability processing isn't functional. Medium to larger scale battle and you can't even click on abilities on your action bars. Button goes visually down, but nothing happens, like clicking unallocated button.

    The fact that you don't even mention the missing Light Attack damage when doing your DMG Received < Maximum Health math, which is necessary to trigger both the abilities shown on the Death Recap, leads me to believe you don't know as much as you believe you do.

    Look into how Crystal Weapon and Crushing/Elemental Weapon work. You precast both, then their damage trigger on your next Light Attack. No lag necessary for what OP is complaining about.

    It's just Death Recap being buggy with Power Overload Light Attack, which was most likely done at max range and why OP doesn't see their killer "come out of stealth" near them.

    There’s nothing wrong with discussing the amount of damage, having the 2 skills not stack, a broken recap, or have the skills bring them out of stealth, but when you start mentioning exploits, macros, and add ons the thread loses all credibility and no one will take it seriously including Zos.
